Pasta Options?

We're a group headed to WDW in less than 2 weeks, and we are looking for pasta options for the Friday night. Since my own family is 'counter service' only, I am unfamiliar with the full service restaurants menus/reviews etc. let alone for a specific meal (ie pasta). I know that I can go to Deb's site to check out the menus, but I thought that your specific experiences would help more than reading menus. Thanks for any information!

Our favorites are Palio and Portobello Yacht Club. They have a wonderful pasta dish at Spoodles, also. Tony's, in the MK, is pretty good, but some reviews are not good. There is Alfredo's in Epcot, but we don't like going there at all.

Most places have a pasta dish, but the ones above should get you started.

The lobster tortellini at Palio's is excellent. Years ago I had a pesto linguini at Alfredo's that I loved, but I'm not sure if it is still on the menu. I didn't care for the rigatoni at Alfredos I had the last time I ate there.

Palio is very good. I do not recommend Alfredo's in Epcot. We've given it more than one chance and that's it for us.

Mama Melrose at MGM is wonderful. We had the Chicken Parmesean and my DS had the pizza off the kids menu. With the free bread and dips as an appetizer it was great.

I would give Portobello Yacht Club in DD a try. We ate there a few weeks ago and it was fantastic. Try there white pizza for starters, you will love it.

I love the penne pasta ala vodka at Mama Melroses--only on the dinner menu.

We love Mama Melrose's too. They will also make spaghetti for you even though it is not on the menu. In fact, the last time we asked, our server asked us what kind of sauce and what type of pasta we wanted!

Agreed! The alfredo at Alfredo's is the best you'll ever have!
