Past user of codes...

Howdy all !

I am a past benefactor of some great "Disney Discount Codes"...not sent to me, but given to me here on these boards. Here in NJ we don't get "discount code post-cards"....just ain't happening!

Any hoo! My last discount code was a huge discount for the "Poly". That was a few years ago and I have not been on these boards since.

Is there any chance of getting discounts with codes these days...or is this something of the past??? If not...where do I begin to look for them?

Unless it is a public code for anyone to use, we cannot post it.
In other words, if I received a post card, I cannot post the code.

Thank you for responding. I don't remember if the codes I got before were from post cards that belonged to others. I don't think they were. In any event...I think there are "universal discount codes" that are published in magazines etc. Those are the codes I am speaking of....but thanks anyway

You can go to Mousesavers.com and there is a listing of all available discounts for the upcoming weeks. I am not sure what all codes are available right nowl, but mousesavers is kept very up-to-date and if there is a code to be had, it will be on there. Keep watching these boards and you'll find codes too. If you are looking for codes for resorts, try the resort thread. There are usually posts about new codes on there as soon as they are released.

Thanks Sherri...I shall check them out. I remember getting a great rate for the Poly about 3 years ago due to either an upsell or a code. Can't remember which.

There have been all types of codes available for the last few years, I remember two years ago I saw one in a hispanic publication and I used it and I'm not even hispanic. I guess you just need to keep your eyes open. Mousesavers.com is a good place to keep bookmarked, they list whatever there is as soon as its available.

Hi,
I probably should have phrased my answer better. The DIS does not allow us to post codes that are not available to the general public. There are other ways to get them, as we all know. General codes will be posted here.

Everyone is waiting for current codes for everyone to use, but so far there aren't any generic codes. Everyone is waiting on AP passholder rates, too. Your best bet might be AAA discount right now, if it's available. I know there are some good rates at the swan and dolphin hotels, and expedia seems to have rates almost as low as some of the codes used to be.
