As a Hypnotherapist I have decided to specialise in a very controversial field of study - Past Life Regression. I truly think that some disorders, phobias, what have you, can be traced back to a previous life.

I don’t know if I believe in us having past lives or not. I am on the fence about it. I have wondered occasionally if people are drawn to specific periods in history because of a past life connection. I know there are very specific times and places of history that interest me and others I have very little interest in.

However it something worth exploring. I mean, let’s say I had a past life where I died of starvation. Could that explain why I overeat in this life? Maybe. . .

I was a child on a bank on a river in India when a crocodile grabbed me ... that explains my wading in Arizona flashfloods....my social group says it's so Peter Pan of me

What's the market like for past-life hypnotherapy in the UK? Is it good enough to specialize in past-life hypnosis? (Will you make enough money on past-life hypnotherapy alone?)

I have a USP - I offer three therapies in one. Hypnotherapy, complimented with NLP Coaching and Life Coaching. Supply vs. demand varies. There are far more Life Coaches than there are clients, for instance. Talking specifically about Life Regression Hypnotherapists, there are far more clients than there are practitioners.

I have 5 distinctive memories as a 4 year old... memory 6 a result of story being told over and over
1.green onions... I guess an adult offered me a bite and I hated it...few days later a girl offered me a new growth dafidil and I turned it down

2. Corn dog...my first one than boarded a Ferris 🎡 🎡 .. moments later I have never eaten a corn dog again

3. Sharks...must have seen one TV...as my dad was cleaning a whole salmon he took the head and chased me with the "SHARK 😡 😡 🦈 🦈

4. Folks belong to a water ski club... I would not be close to the shores of the lagoon

5. The story my mom would tell over and over was how I screamed bloody murder about a crocodile 🐊 🐊 under my bed. ...she remembers the screaming because she had just brought home her third baby..no memory of screaming but a vivid memory of the crocodile under my bed

Regressive studies can span two major lifetimes - the obvious one is current life regression, where phobias and fears are anchored in your childhood. The more challenging - and hotly debatable - regression is in a "past life", wherein (don't laugh) you take a client back into the womb and further back, to a past life. Sometimes, this can actually help a lot, depending on how far back you have to go or want to go! But I'd specialise in both. Of the two, the more famous is "Past Life Regression"

Applying for my Diploma now… only a level 3 qualification similar to an A-Level standard as it is an adjunctive course to Hypnotherapy. From what I've read so far, it's fascinating!

Should I complement this course with a related "Past Life Healing" course? Wouldn't cost much. I mean, I've done so much learning already, why stop where I'm at?

Well I've been studying Past Life Healing as an adjunctive subject to the more serious Past-Life Regression and it's very religious in nature, as well as petty out there (talks about crystals of healing and so on). It's nothing on Past-Life Regression, which is a serious bit of learning!

That is the success of past life healing world wide religion, Crystal elements, sage plants, cedar trees, garlic, fig trees, marigolds...ever wonder why everyone had marigolds in the 70s... you go to Mexico and explore Disney Coco...it is a very alive so spiritual therapy

Maybe I need to give it more credence?

The only time I wondered about that was when I was 35 years old and we were making our first road trip to WDW. I was born, raised and lived for 63 years in the north, 25 miles from the Canadian border, but during the drive shortly after we crossed the Mason/Dixon Line a feeling of relaxation came over me. I felt like I was home! It was significant enough that I told my wife about it at the time it happened. I never acted on it until I was 63 and moved to NC and felt instantly like I had lived there all my life. I've never had any other things happen, but I just had the feeling like everything fit like a glove.

I don't know for sure how I feel about past life regression because there has never been me picturing myself as being there before or having some memory crop up that would have been related. I can say that in those almost 30 years between the time I experienced that until I moved down here, I never really thought about it in that respect again. When I moved it was for warmer climate. So who knows. Was it the longing for warmer climate (which btw isn't the case here for the past week) or something else deeper than that. I don't have a clue, but there are stranger things have have happened, so why not?
