Past Dec. Vacationers - Bounce backs?

Hi all - in an attempt to distract myself from my nightmare, lol -i was reading about Bounce Backs....a couple of the articles that I read stated that Disney doesn't typically offer many Bounce Backs in November, December because of 1. the holidays and 2. they want you to do the return trip in the same year or a 9 month period....

I wondered - did previous december travelers receive bounce back offers? and if so were they needing to be within 9 months?

I didn't get a BB in December 2012.

I think the idea of the BB is to return relatively soon, so that 9 month window you've read about makes sense.

The bounce back deals are usually to increase the slower periods and fill rooms. We booked ours on our August trip and it was for free dining, but it can be that or a room discount based on the dates. I know they offered them in November and early December two years ago as we had an offer. They do not include Thanksgiving week or the two weeks before or week after Christmas traditionally.

You have a 12 month window to book the bounce back, give or take I believe. So if you are there in December 2013, you can book through December 2014. I would ask at the resort when you check in if it is available and the paperwork should be in the information packet in the room.
