Passports/BC, pt 2

How often will the passport/BC need to be used? - just at check-in, prior to embarkation, or will they need to be used throughout the trip?

You'll need proof of citizenship when you check in, and when you debark at the end of the cruise. If you're on the eastern Caribbean itinerary, you'll also need it on Wednesday morning before leaving the ship at St. Thomas. Other than that, you can keep passport/BC's locked in your room safe. To board the ship while in port, you'll need only your room key and a photo ID (such as a driver's license).
