Passporter: Regular or Deluxe?

Okay, I think I'm all talked into getting a passporter, since I have Disney Planning OCD. But the question is: Which one?

I was thinking the spiral bound one, 'cuz it's cheaper, but we're going for 13 days, and I think it looks like it only has 10 days worth of pockets??? (It's the pockets I'm really excited about lol). So then I thought maybe we'd spring for the deluxe.

But then, I searched this board for info, and it looks like most people who have the deluxe take pages out and stuff - is it too big and heavy to take with you to the parks? Would that defeat the purpose of having one?

Don't think I'll use it for advance planning so much as for quick reference while there, and keeping stuff in, and then as a keepsake later.

Which one would you all recommend?

I bought the spiral for the first trip. Deluxe for the second. Love the Deluxe version because you can remove the pages for the park you're going to and leave the rest back at the hotel. Also, there's some extra pages you can download off the internet and put into the binder.

I had the spiral version for our 2004 trip. I decided I'll get the Deluxe version for our 2006 trip.

I ended up tearing out the maps and things from the spiral version to just take certain pages to the parks and I don't want to do that next year.

I figure I can also add in extra pages if I need to, either their refill kits or my own stuff.

I bought the deluxe and love it . Before we leave home i take out the stuff I know we wont be doing ( like staying at certain hotels) and add my own daily schedule to it. When we go to the parks i just take out the days folder and map and trow it in my geek bag

Last year I got my Deluxe version at Walmart.com for less than the return customer discount at passporter.com just FYI.

The price is great! $14.64 (or deluxe $25.92) + $1 shipping (for now)
***Make sure you look for the journal keepsake one

There are also some blank pages/pockets for extra days if youre staying longer... I find it's better to write some stuff down each night (if Possible) just to keep track of info for later on.

This is my second spiral Passporter from Overstock ...tear pages out/ why would you do such a thing???

My Deluxe just arrived today! Love it! I went for the Deluxe so I can just buy the refills for next years trip. Plus, I like the idea of taking out what you don't need while not actually tearing them from the book. That way when your trip is done, you can put everything back in and fasten the gum band thing over it and put it away. It will be nice to have it all together to look at years from now. LOVE the envelopes! The Deluxe also only has 10 days worth, and 1 additional envelope you can customize. ( good for you last 3 days maybe?)Glad I went for it.

I bought the Spiral first, before I knew there was a deluxe version. But I have bought the deluxe version ever since. I keep everything in it. It is one of the first things packed, though I don't take it to the parks.

When I get the new insert I tie off the old one with all the keepsake stuff in it and put a rubber band on it. I have everyone for the last 6 years. If I need more pockets, I just order the pockets.

I wouldn't change it for anything.

I just saw on the passporter website that the 2006 edition will be available in November.
