We are booked for a trip in March 2006. I have read on some of these boards that this years passporter was difficult to get.

Will this years still be helpful for next March?

I really don't know much about the book.

Thanks.

The Passporter has a wealth of info in it that I have found useful. I have the 2nd edition. I just got an email that the 3rd edition just went to press and won't be ready for a few weeks. You can pre-order the book at the passporter website if you are interested. www.passporter.com

I think it's only been hard to get this year as the authors had a baby and were swamped. Also, they added a lot of info on the West Coast cruises, necessitating a rewrite. I had no trouble getting the 2nd edition of the cruise guide.

In fact, there seems to be NO other comprehensive resource on Disney cruises. Birnbaum's doesn't even compare. Passporter has an UNBELIEVABLE amount of information! I keep rereading in preparation and anticipation.
I have the 2nd edition as well as Birnbaum's latest.
The 3rd edition Passporter will be out anyday. Preorder--you will have it in plenty of time! (I had no problem getting 2nd edition through either Amazon or Barnes & Noble.com--not sure which).
Happy cruising!

I just preordered mine and got a reply Email that said they would be shipping them out May 4th.

Thank you everyone for the advice.

One more question.

I happend to see at Chapters an older version, being that this is our second cruise, is it worth buying?

For the little bit that I looked at, it seemed to be information that I was aware of either from this wonderful board or from being on the ship.

Should I make the purchase?

Another big thumbs up for Passporter. We use the Deluxe for all our WDW trips, and have the 1st edition DCL paperback and the 2nd edition deluxe. We probably won't get the 3rd edition as most of it is for west coast cruises. But for WDW or DCL they are the best read.

I have the 2nd edition and IMHO, I would wait and pre-order the 3rd or get the 2nd right now. I wouldn't bother with older versions. Good luck and you won't be sorry with either edition.

Have fun cruisin'.

Maria
