Passporter god bundle

I loved the Passporter for the Cruise last year, so I ordered the Passporter God/Goddess bundle from the website where I was supposed to get 5 copies of last year's version...well, I got ONE copy in the mail today. I really love these guides too, so I want my other copies to share! ARRRRR pirate:
 
I too ordered the bundle special but I received all 5 as promised. Maybe there was a mix up. :)
 
I ordered and received all 5 in the bundle I ordered. Double check your order to make sure you did order and pay for the 5 (mistakes happen). Email the folks at passporter.com if everything states you ordered five and received just one.
 
I agree with others to double check your order and if you did indeed order the God/Goddess bundle, contact them with your order number and let them know of the error. I personally have never had a shipping error with them (I ordered the bundle as well and received all 5 copies), but I know that each time I have communicated with the Passporter people they have been nothing but prompt and courteous.

I imagine once that offer came out, they were swamped with orders, and while you wish every order would come out perfect, mistakes can happen in any operation.

So before calling them a ripoff, why don't you see if they are willing to make it right?
 

Yes, I did order the Goddess bundle and even my enclosed reciept shows the God/Goddess bundle right on that receipt. I emailed them last night and have not heard back from them yet. I really want the books and not the $5 difference b/w ordering 1 and ordering 5 (including shipping difference). I'm going to trust that it was an honest mistake if everyone else is getting their 5 copies.

I only ordered & received one. I was sent an email confirmation, an email saying it was sent & an email asking if I had received it & to let them know when & was I happy with the transaction.

Very pleased with their level of cust. service

Let's see. You live on the West Coast. You only received one book. You sent an e-mail late at night East Coast time yesterday. Since you did not hear back from them within 1.25 hours of thier opening for business on the East Coast you have now have two ranting posts.

Don't you think that it would have been polite to give them at least a couple of business days to get your e-mail and respond to you before implying that they are unethical, especially in a public forum?
 
I would wait and see if they respond and send you the others. I received my copy very quickly and they sent an email yesterday to see if I received and was happy with the order.
 
I received my bundle from them just a few days after I ordered from them. I was very pleased.

Honestly, I would give them a little time before bashing them on what I'm sure is a good reference site for them.
 
I ordered two bundles and got both of them. I'm sure it was just a mistake. Hopefully, they'll rectify it quickly.

I ordered the goddess pack and some extra pockets. Pack shows up, pockets did not. I e-mailed them and they profusely apologized and had my pockets to me two days later.

Everybody makes mistakes, but I've had nothing but excellent customer service from them.

Ditto! Nothing but AWESOME customer service from PassPorter. And as for the deal, who else practically gives their old issues away for the cost of shipping and handling? Last year I took advantage of this offer and they ran out of the giveaway copies, so they sent me 5 current copies!! Most publishers would rather burn their surplus than give it away.

I would certainly hate for their outstanding reputation to be tarnished because they were trying to do something nice.

Thanks for the flame! If you READ my second post, I stated clearly that I thought it was an honest mistake. I know lots of folks here ordered the bundle and I was trying to get info on if folks actually received their 5 books or if they also received just one book.

I am not trying to bash Passporter as I've had good luck w/their stuff in the past. I am sure they will rectify the situation...I'm just hoping they still have the books available to send to me.

BTW...changed the name of the post just for you! I realize in my frustration at first, I probably gave the wrong impression.
 
Just wanted to chime in...

Same thing happened to me. I ordered the bundle and received only 1 book instead of 5.

I e-mailed them Monday night, and received a response the next day (Tuesday). They told me that there was a mix-up in the shipping warehouse on the day I ordered (around the end of October). They said they would ship the remaining 4 books out on that day (Tuesday) via UPS and that I should receive it by Friday.

I e-mailed them back and told them they could save the money and ship it Media Mail again...because I'm not in a big hurry to receive the books. I didn't receive a response from that e-mail.

Just wanted to pass on the information. If you don't receive a response from them by tomorrow...just send another friendly e-mail to them. I included my order number in the e-mail so they could reference the order.

I DID get an email from them today and they said the same thing...they will ship by UPS my other 4 books. Sounds like maybe a new guy working in the warehouse.

I'm glad they fixed it right away and I will definitely continue to recommend them to others.
