I would like to buy the next passporter. I dont know if I should buy the deluxe? What is special about it? Is it worth $20 more for pockets to put things in? does it have any other features?

I would say go for the deluxe. I recently purchased it, & my DH & myself love it! It is in a really nice faux-leather covered binder, with the pockets & a pen. It is really easy to read & make notes in, because it lays flat.

Just my opinion! :flower: ;)

I found the Deluxe to be very handy...and useful. All the pocket make it handy to keep lots of note with you...along with coupons or even ticket nice and orginized. And it becomes VERY nice if you reorder a newer edition or even a diffrent passporter, like the WDW one...because you can just order the refill and not a whole new book or binder.

The binder style is also nice because you can remove pages that are not needed or rearange pages if you'd like.

I agree. I got the Deluxe and love it for the same reasons that the other posters mention above! :goodvibes

I'm normally a frugal Yankee and, in the past, have purchased the regular Passporters just to have something to dream on. But for our upcoming cruise, I ordered the Deluxe edition.

The rings will allow me to remove pages relating to other cruises, thus lightening the load in my luggage. Also, I intend to try my hand at scrapbooking our cruise memories once we're home, and I thought that having pockets and places to make notes of each day would be very helpful considering my fading memory (it's heck getting old!).

Besides, I reasoned, the Deluxe looks so darn nice. :rotfl2:

I second all the votes for the Deluxe. I have the deluxe, and the pockets are nice, but not all that important--I mean you can use envelopes or folders. But what makes it worth it is both the leather binder and the fact that you can pop open those rings and take out the pages that don't relate to your cruise and have a small, lighter weight version that applies just to your cruise. Also, it lays nice and flat for you to highlight and make notes.

I just wanted to pop in and say one thing about taking out information that is not related to "your" cruise. I almost did this very thing with my delux version of the passporter prior to our trip...but never actually got around to doing so...and it was a darn good thing I didn't .....because our itenairy changed almost daily on the cruise...and because I didn't take pages out I was able to do a quick look up on our newest port of call. So although it is nice to be able to remove pages..unless you know for a FACT that your not going to use them...it's also nice to leave them in there. JMO :goodvibes

I pre ordered by PP deluxe online tonight. I bought the WDW PP last year so I did get the 30% off the new Deluxe for DCL. :flower: One more reason to watch the mail. :goodvibes

When you order from Passporter.com (or when you order a Passporter for the first time) your given a "code" for future orders....good towards 30% off your next order. :goodvibes

how did you get the 30% off?

If you have an old Passporter book you can get 30% off your next order. Go to the site and it'll tell you how to get the code (you'll need your old Passporter book). :)

I preordered the new Cruise Deluxe--new edition comes out this week--and I was able to use my WDW Passporter from 2000 to get the code. After all is said and done it really only covers shipping and handling (maybe tax), but I think it's worth it.
