We just returned a few hours ago from the 7 night Western cruise! We had a fantastic time...(I'd be glad to answer any questions people new to cruising might have about this trip).
My DD8 wanted to bring her passport in to school to show the kids who don't have passports what they're like and how they get stamped, etc...since they have made ones in school that tie into a reading incentive program. Anyways...we wanted to have our passports stamped in the different countries on our trip. Grand Cayman was quite easy just going to the Gov't building that is very near the spot the tenders let you off (be aware that just because they SAY they open at 8:30am, doesn't mean they open at 8:30am...they are definately on Island time!! It was at least 9am before anyone showed up to work!!!). We thought it would be the same in Mexico, but it wasn't and we never saw any imigration office/gov't building to go to to get stamped. What we found out was that had we turned our passports in to Guests Services the morning we sailed into Mexico, we could have been stamped. As it turned out, Guest Services did get us stamped in the Bahamas. Just thought I'd let people who might be interested to know, that you can get your passport stamped if you just ask!! We're sorry we don't have Mexico....guess this means we'll have to go back!

Guess we'll have to wait until next summer to finally get our passports stamped.
