I'm sure I read somewhere that if you ask, DCL will arrange for your passport to be stamped (We have UK passports)
We forgot to look into it last year on the Western cruise. Anyone any info on stamping at St Martins or St Thomas whilst on an Eastern?
Have tried a search but not found anything..
Regards
Lyn

The officials would NOT stamp the passports that were left at Guest Services on the EB PC repo last year. :(

We are crazy, but I would like to get ours stamped. Does that mean we can't get a stamp? We are on the 3 day Wonder.

At Grand Cayman, we got ours stamped right there at port, the building was just to the right of where you tendered, we just walked out, and asked, the gentleman there was really nice and stamped away.

For Cozumel, we left our passports at Guest Services, were told that they may or may not get stamped. When we picked them up, we were told no stamp but noticed later, that they had been

ooohhh! My kiddos (okay and me too!) would love that! never thought about it. One of my older kiddos (not cruising with us) has traveled the world since age 15 (or at least it seems that way to his siblings) and has already filled up two passport books! So my younger ones would love to show him stamps in their brand new passports. What a fun idea.

Seems like luck of the draw though huh?

Yes, which was a huge disappointment. The EB PC Repo in 2008 was the only cruise that actually needed a Passport due to going to Colombia and that country's rep wouldn't even stamp the books. They told GS the day before so GS called us to come and pick them up the night before we went there. I was majorly peeved! :(

where can you get yours stamped in the bahamas and CC? I would like to do both. Since I didn't do it on our previous cruise (forgot!)

In Nassau it was very easy to get stamps. You just walk inside the port terminal building and there was an information desk, I asked the man there where to go, and he pointed out the door to a security booth. We walked to the booth and told him we wanted the stamps, and he buzzed open a gate for us to walk over to the government building a few steps away. Once there we were directed to an office where a nice customs official was happy to stamp our passports. I'm so glad we took the 5 minutes to do this before Atlantis because I love getting the stamps!

Soo...that said, I am doing the Eastern in January and would love advice from anyone who knows how/where to get the stamps in St. Thomas and St. Maarten?

As you are from NJ, you aren't leaving the country when you get to St. Thomas. Its part of the US. Not sure about St. Maarten.

St Maarten is half Dutch, half French. When our oldest daughter was younger she'd tell people she had been to Holland and France since she had been on both parts of the island. :rolleyes1

That said- we're cruising the Med next Spring and they'd love to get a Tunisia stamp in their passports.

Awesome! Thank you!!!!!

The passports were such a big deal to our kids. I'm sure they'd love to have their books stamped.
