Passport Question

I am thinking about booking a November 07 cruise. My question is about passports. I know I need them after 1/1/08, but will Disney still allow me to book my cruise without passports? I see there is a place to report your passport numbers? Does anyone know for sure?

I booked a Nov 07 cruise 2 wks ago, & no one in my family has passports. DH's & mine expired; kids never had them. We have applied for them, but haven't rec'd them yet. But, we booked the cruise w/o having them.

Used a TA, that might make a difference. Maybe they know how to get around it.

Yes, you can book without passports, but they really push you to have them.

One note of caution, if you don't have a passport, apply asap as it has been taking upwards to 17 weeks to get them.

I had to call my congressman to expedite mine.

you can book AND cruise without it until at least 1/31/08 (as per the DHS) for cruises in north america. proper alternate ID will still be required though
