Passport query

Hi everyone,

Am I right in thinking that when I enter the U.S I will need a full 6 months left on my passport? I think I have 7 left and really don't want to have to renew before my trip as its so expensive!

If it is a British passport then it only has to be valid for the length of your trip, Ive travelled with less than 3 months on mine. Some airlines might want 6 months, if you have 7 then you will be fine anyway.

As Jen said, by rights your passport only has to be valid for the length of your trip but some airlines insist on you having 6 months.

From what you've said, you should be fine on your existing passport

You will be fine. My son's passport had 7 month's left on it back in December and it was perfectly okay.
