Yeah, got that yesterday, it excites me cause I have a friend who wants to go but doesn't have money for a ticket right now, so I want to take him.

I just purchased 2 adult passports and 1 child passport....make sure you have them sent to you fedex because if you do eticket you are going to have to exchange it at the turnstyle or kiosk before your can register on the passport member site to get a free ticket for a friend but if you have it sent to you you get the actual ticket with the barcode you need to register for the free friend ticket....I was able to talk to custer service and she reversed the charge and redid the transaction so that I could get the passport fedex instead of evoucher. It seems that this is a very good deal. One question do you get a discount on the all day dining if you have a passport?

Yes, you do get 10% off on the all day dining. You also get 10% off at all the stores and even 10% off for the pearl diving. Of course, the free parking is awesome too. We are going to SeaWorld in November so unless they extend the promotion, I will have to buy my mom's ticket. Free is a much better deal.:rotfl:

Also make sure if you are getting passports for a group and plan on getting a free ticket for each passport make sure you order them separate under different accounts. because its 1 free ticket per account and not per passport

One free ticket per passport - I can confirm this (having bought 6 passports on my account for all my family & currently holding 5 free ticket print outs for more family) :thumbsup2

There is also a $20 discount if your friends/family decide to purchase their own AP on the day they use their free ticket :)

How did you do this Tracey?
I printed 1 off, I tried logging in with another passport but option to print free ticket. Offer says 1 per account not passport.
When you ordered did you drop the box to 5 and order all together (I only did 1) or did you order all seperate?
:confused3

Nope - logged in with each AP and printed one off from each. Did have one that the free ticket option did not appear on (but the $20 discount did) but assumed that was because it was a child AP?

Just tried all 3 AP's again(all adults), only allowed me the 1 free ticket.
I wonder if its because we did it on EZpay this time, did you pay upfront or EZpay?

This happened to me also...I ordered 3 passports registered 1 ticket got a free ticket went to enter the other 2 and the free ticket option was gone just the $20 off bonus was left. I called customer service and they said it was per account not per passport she was about to hang up on me and I ask to speak to someone in charge because that is not what I was told or read. The supervisor called me back and she said she listened to the call when I called about not have the bar code on the e voucher and canceling the first transaction and repurchasing the passpost to be delivered and apologized for being told the wrong information. Supervisor did say it was per account and because of getting wrong info she gave me 2 comp tickets to be picked up at guest services. I don't know if they will comp everyone I guess it would be on a case by case basis so just to let people know purchase the ticket on different accounts so you can get a free ticket

Thank you for letting me know about this. I am a platinum pass holder and would never have known about this if not for the DIS!

We live in VA and have family in FL. We were sent info on the Busch Gardens Williamsburg free pass and are using that for DS's friend. We can use the Sea World pass for a family member. Now I'm searching to see if there is a similar deal at Busch Gardens Tampa.

Right on the e-mail it says ,

"Online registration required for your Free Ticket. One Free Ticket per account membership and is for one-time use only. Valid SeaWorld 1 Year, 2 Year or Platinum Members must be present at the park for free ticket holder to get admittance. Fun Card not valid. Free ticket is nontransferable and may be revoked for misuse. Additional single-day admission tickets are valid for up to 6 guests, per Passport Member. Offers valid through September 30, 2010."

I read that to mean that if you have purchased 4 memberships then each person you paid the $$$ for should be able to get someone in free. I would call and argue the point if you were denied tickets.

It does not say per account it says account membership.

Hmm - pity I only have a voucher for my AP and have already bought separate tickets for DW/DD. Has anyone spoken with Seaworld to see if there is a way around this?

Thanks to Wayneg for the free ticket:) We have 4 Super Grove Platinum Passes for myself,DH,DS,and DD and needed 2 more tickets for our 2 older daughters.I filled out the request form individually using our 4 different emails and it worked fine. I have 4 free one day passes so the older girls can go free for 2days!! Thanks again Wayneg:)
