Passport expires in June 2014...

Hey all,

So my wife's passport expires in June 2014. Our Western Carribbean cruise on the Fantasy is coming up on Feb 15-22... will we need to get it renewed? The ports of call are Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. It looks like Mexico it outside of the 6-months validity rule but not sure about Grand Cayman.

The "6 month validity rule" doesn't apply on Caribbean (closed-loop) cruises. As long as you have a valid passport to re-enter the US at the end of the cruise, you're good.

I'll second that, for those ports, fwiw.

Just make sure you actually bring them. Some overlook that step.

The six-month rule is mostly for European countries.

When you fly to Europe for the cruise your passport will need to be valid for 6+ months.
