Okay -- let me just start by saying that I AM NOT A GOOD SEWER.. i own a machine and it just collects dust 
I've had it for many years and just have not taken a liken to it.
Well... I saw on the net these passport covers out of fabric - so what did I do? Yup, bought fabric and some thread.. Didn't work out at all! LOL
So I bought some non sew iron on hem stuff on a roll LOL
I tried doing it - nah! don't work you have to sew..
So, do I give up on this and just buy a standard leather case - what to do with the fabric I bought - it's all different kinds - my daughter picked out 'kitty'... my son 'cookie monster', I bought 'mickey' and my husband 'shamrocks'. I also picked out a few others for friends that are traveling with us - as gifts.
This definitely blew up in my face!
Suggestions? Kick this idea to the curb?
