Exactly! And it's always a gamble....wait and hope for a discount, but maybe have the prices go up instead?? It looks like we will be spending almost $3K on tickets for our family of four, which is truly insanity. If they offered a 10-day pass that would solve our problems, as we are not the usual DLR visitors, but like to spend a whole solid 10 days there to give us plenty of time to repeat favorites and be able to soak everything in.

At ten days you can "soak" small world in 384 times...

That DVC discount on that pass is amazing, isn't it? They've got about 40 rooms...so you have to pay cash or go offsite...and there's no incentive to go for we...who fund wdw' daily operation...

Disney, doesn't need to explain another quarter of low attendance to the stock holders.
With the Zika scare ramping up, The attendance downturn could be the tip of the iceberg.
There are a lot of expectant families that may think twice about a Disney vacation until things settle down. You can be sure Disney is not filling the River Country pool for nothing.
