Passholder race registration

I like to race in several runDisney events on both coasts each year. I'm thinking about getting a Disneyland Deluxe Annual Passport since I visit that park a few times a year. I was wondering two things:
1. Does a Disneyland annual pass enable me to do early registration for runDisney events at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World?
2. If I have a Disneyland pass, am I able to get passholder discounts on resort lodging at WDW for runDisney events in that park even though my pass is only for Disneyland?

I believe the answer to #1 now is yes, but the answer to #2 is no.

If you want to get discounts for the WDW portions, invest in a Premier pass. They not only allow you entrance into both Disneyland and WDW, but also applicable passholder discounts for rooms, food, merch, etc at both.

2 No, but runDisney often offers a discount in rooms and tickets are not required just an option. They write it one way online that makes it sound like it is packages only but if you call then have room only.
