We live in PA. We purchased Passholder tickets in January 2019, but we only have the green exchange cards, not the actual passes. We won’t be at our resort until the end of July. MDE will only allow us to have one Magic Band each (for our room).

Is this correct? We don’t get a Magic Band until we get the actual pass? I have researched, but cannot find an answer to this question. Thank you for any help you can give!

(The Passholder tickets are paid in full.)

After you’ve gone to guest services and activated your AP, then you’ll be able to customize your AP MB. Prior to the trip you’ll only be able to customize the one linked to your reservation.

And just so you know, the AP MB is no different then the one you will get for a resort stay - except you can choose a different color. But as the previous poster stated once you activate your AP the option will show up to customize your AP MB.

Correct.
But, if you don't want to wait until AFTER your first trip (using your newly-activated APs) to order an AP MB (which, again, is absolutely no different from a standard "free-with-your-resort-room" MB...
You could decide to go to MK's "Ticket Office" (next to Hall of Presidents) and pick up an AP MB there.
