Purely by accident, I find myself (and my daughter) at Universal during the Passholder Appreciation week. I have a seasonal pass (so fortunate to be able to use it twice!!!). I cannot find a link that actually lists of what restaurants are owned & operated. I can figure it out in the park, but curious about Citywalk:

Offer is available to Universal Orlando Power and Seasonal Passholders from August 13-September 30, 2018 at owned and operated restaurants at Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Universal’s Volcano Bay, and Universal CityWalk. Offer excludes food & beverage carts and alcoholic beverages.

Anyone who can share a link, it would be most appreciated!

I don't think they list them other than just owned and operated. I have a Preferred, and have gotten my discount at Margartiaville, Red Oven Pizza, NBC Grill, and the Italian place in CityWalk, and the hotel restaurants at HRH, Portofino, and RPR. So, I would say all the restaurants in CityWalk would take the AP discount. Never hurts to ask.

I haven't heard of any lately that do not. Here is a list of restaurants normally have discounts... https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us/tickets-packages/annual-passes/uoap-types/index.html

Thank you, Lynne and Damo! It's 10% for seasonal during these weeks, which is a nice perk.

If you happen to be there on the 26th (Sunday) they are having a Passholder night from 8pm to midnight, with a special showing of the new nighttime show.

From what I can see the preferred and premier passholders do not get any extra discounts on food or merchandise as the power and seasonal do. Is this correct? I'll be there with a preferred pass from the 18th to 23rd of august staying at portofino, and from what I can tell I will not be able to take advantage of any benefits from the passholder appreciation event? no extra dining discounts, early morning access already included with hotel, express pass already included with hotel, blue man discount tickets can be purchased in the time I am there but oddly can only be used for performances starting sept 1st, and no unique discounts for hotel, discount for Caribbean Carnaval is only good for dates in September, and the collectible button isn't available till the 26th? This is a very disappointing "appreciation" Why bother stating it starts on the 13th if so many of the benefits aren't until later? And I apologize, I can get a dollar off my coke refill...... so... there's that.

Yes, I noticed this too. I feel like it should be Seasonal and Power Pass appreciation days, not Annual Pass days because I don’t see that I will be getting anything out of it, unless I want to go to the party. As someone who can go whenever I want anyway, I’m not sure how even that is such a big perk. I don’t see there’s anything really special going on during the party. Would have been nice to give Preferred and Premier passholders an extra 10% or something.

The hotel early morning access is just for Universal Studios though. With the passholder appreciation weeks, Islands of Adventure is also open an hour early. There's one case were I can see your preferred pass will get you a better benefit from my seasonal pass. You can go early every day to IOA where as weekends aren't included for seasonal and power passholders (and unfortunately the only two mornings we'll be there are weekends - oh well! We will be there just by chance for the evening event).

I don’t think both IOA and US are open to AP holders. If you click on the fine print, it says either park based on Universal’s decision. Since the construction is the reason IOA hasn’t been open early this summer, I don’t see that changing. But we can always hope.

As far as the weekends go, yes Preferred and Premier do receive early entrance, but they receive early entrance every day anyway, even when pass holder appreciation days aren’t going on. So, this really isn’t a perk or added “appreciation” for them.

No one is disputing that the two higher passes don’t offer some nice benefits. What’s being pointed out is that the passholder appreciation days aren’t offering anything extra for those pass types which seems a little unfair, especially since those passes cost so much more to begin with.

If you paid upwards of $100 to $200 more for a ticket just to get specific benefits such as early entry or certain discounts, and then found out that someone who bought a lesser ticket is now being given those same benefits for free, while you essentially get nothing, that’s frustrating. Especially if this whole promotion is supposed to be marketed as Passholder Appreciation Days. I see how they are appreciating Seasonal and Power holders, but how are they appreciating Preferred and Premier holders? The answer is they really aren’t. It’s a first world problem and not a huge deal. However, if you paid more just to get early entry or something else now being offered essentially for free at the lower pass price, I can see how that would be very frustrating. For a family of 4, that would be around $400 extra you spent for essentially no reason. If you would have bought the higher passes anyway, it’s not as frustrating, just kind of insulting, they aren’t really including you. Would it have been the end of the world to offer the other two pass types an additional 10% or something?

I won't have my AP till I get to Universal unfortunately - I have to upgrade my 3-day ticket when I get there - so I cant check the site other than what is listed on the public site

In previous years they had buy one get one half price for the Dining plan - that really made it worthwhile - are they not doing that this year?

I think I can still get 10% off with Amex - but buy one get one half price was far better.

Not sure I will bother - I'll need to be a bit more choosy where I use the credits

We just got back. The only perk for the appreciation week that we took advantage of was the 10% off food when I remembered. NightOwl, I understand your frustration, but instead of not having Season passes included, I'd suggest a bump up of what the current discount is. We already had the early admission due to staying at RPR.
