Passes at DS in Edmonton!!!

I was pleasantly surprised after calling for three months requesting for MYW passes that I finally got two adult passes for DW!!!

We bought two adult ones for 7 days with park hopper @ $296 CDN each. I'm thrilled because we've been calling for so long and I was just going to bite the bullet and get them through Undercover Tourist.

If anyone else is looking in this area, you should call right away to reserve as they disappear really fast!

Just wanted to plug the fact I was in the Ottawa Disney Store last week when the courier package with the MYW cards arrived. So, Ottawa did have some stock on hand too.... but it won't last long, if not already gone!!

I called Edmontons Disney Store today and the prices are:
3 Day Hopper $179
4 Day Hopper $194
5 Day Hopper $204

This is for Disneyland.
It is cheaper than the Disneyland Website, saves us about $24 canadian.
Hey, thats a souveneir! Or a few churros! Any extra money for in the park is a good thing!

I've been trying both DS in Edmonton for months now and they never seem to have what I want (or much of anything else) when I'm there. I live 9 hours away so it's not too convenient to get to I just tried in the West Ed Mall store on Dec 16 and of course couldn't get any. They told me they weren't expecting any more passes until after the new year??? We're heading to Edmonton again in mid January so hopefully I'll have luck then. I wonder how often they actually get more tickets in. You'd think if they sell out that fast they would get a larger amount at a time

When you say to call to reserve, how far in advance can you do that? Do you have to put any kind of deposit down with a credit card? Do you know if I can purchase the passes over the phone and have someone else pick them up for me? I have a sister-in-law that lives near a DS in Calgary and was thinking of checking there as well. I could have her pay for them and pay her back but I'd rather use my own cc and get the airmiles

I can feel your pain Over the Rainbow as I said I was calling for three months. I was advised by them to call every couple of days (I know a real pain).

I was also told in the beginning of Dec that they wouldn't have any more passes in till the New Year and just happened to do my 'call ' and found two adult passes before Christmas! They don't seem to know when they will get passes in which of course is frustrating.

Also try calling the Kingsway Mall location as sometimes their stock isn't so picked over. That is where I got mine.

When I reserved I called that day and you have till the next day to pick them up. No credit card necessary.

If you can find them in Calgary, I'm sure you could pay for them over the phone and have your SIL pick them up. I know they won't mail them to you.

Oh wow. I just assumed that they would have them there!
I am glad I didn't make a special trip there just to find them gone!

I will definately call before I go to get them, thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the info We usually stay near the Kingsway but the last couple of trips went to the WEM. I'll call both locations a day or two before we leave and hope for the best We'll for sure be in the area of Kingsway (apt at Glenrose Hosp) this trip. If I don't have any luck there maybe I'll call the Calgary store by my SIL. I know we're heading back again to Edmonton in early feb and probably going thru Calgary at that time as well. Hopefully between all those locations I can find passes somewhere My concern is that because of our dollar dropping the price of the passes will increase before I can get them

Just was at the Disney Store here in Barrie Ontario....fully stocked...all passes available as of this week. Maybe it's just a supply issue

I was at the DS in WEM yesterday.
They had Disneyland passes, but at the full price.
They said they are expecting the 'adults pay kids price' tickets in the next 3 weeks.
We leave in 3.5 weeks......

Would anyone know if they will be doing the adult for kids price promotion for Disney World?

Historically, the adults for kids pricing has been DL specific... at least that I can remember!
