We have just returned from an excellent vacation on the Allure of the Seas. No complaints with the ship, activities, or service on the Allure. However, while in Cozumel we were docked next to the Navigator of the Seas. We were on the top deck looking over at the Navigator when I realized I was looking into a men's room on one of the top floors of the Navigator. There was no problem seeing through the floor to ceiling window panels directly to the urinals. I have sent an email to RC as well as mentioned it on my feedback form. I am sure these passengers aren't aware that they can be seen if they are docked next to another ship. I also worry that this is potentially in plain view of anyone who looks over, including children.

Well now! That's an interesting design flaw:goodvibes. It would be a kindness to post this over on cruisecritic.com....

That sounded really familiar, so I went a'googling.

Posts on cruisecritic: "If you go to the men's room right next to the Windjammer Buffet you can take a pee with a view... (the restroom has floor to ceiling windows to the sea... including a urinal right at the window:"

This is Voyager, but it shows that Royal makes interesting bathrooms. http://www.urinal.net/voyager/

This has a picture of what I assume you saw: http://www.freecruisecredit.com/cruise_reviews/rcl-navigator-eastern-med.html

Not saying it's not worth a mention, but it does seem to have been there for awhile. :)

Thanks Bumbershoot. That looks like what I saw. While I am sure it is a great view in the middle of the ocean, it wasn't a great view from where I was standing.

If you go to the bleacher bar at fenway park, you pee looking out over the bar, and I think you can actually still see the game. Pretty cool

Keep in mind, that when the Voyager class was built in the 1990s, it was the largest class of passenger ships in the world. They just weren't thinking that they'd build even bigger boats that might one day end up docked next to her. I'm surprised that they don't have privacy tinting on the glass, but I'm sure that's coming soon...
