Passenger Found Dead on Castaway Cay

"#POLICE are investigating the apparent drowning of an American cruise ship passenger off Castaway Cay in the Abacos on Thursday.

#According to reports, shortly before 4pm, a 38–year-old New York man drowned while swimming off Castaway Cay, Disney's private island in the northern Bahamas. Police said an autopsy would be performed to confirm the cause of death.

#The man was a passenger on the Disney Wonder on a five-night cruise to The Bahamas that departed from Miami. Disney spokeswoman Angela Bliss said crew members and medical personnel responded immediately to the incident and the company is working with Bahamian authorities in the investigation."
