Passed Rofr - Doing The Happy Dance

Timeshare services just called and Disney passed on their ROFR. We did a 150 point add-on at HHI. The cost was 10,600 and includes all 150 points for 2004 and 72 from 2003. So now we have to figure out how to use 222 points. Not a problem, believe me.

Soooo, you're the one that bought the one I was going to get! Man!!! I keep losing out b/k I keep waiting too long. I'm jumping fast next time! Do you mind me asking what you got it for per point so I can compare it to other contracts? I had already made plans for all those banked points, too. I know you are grinning and saying hehehe. \
Actually, I'll be a good sport and send my congratulations! Don't live far from you, that was why we've decided on HH b/k we will use it the most in the summer time.

The price per point was $70.67 if you simply take the 10,600 divided by 150 points. The fact that we had all of the points from 2004 and 72 from 2003 made me jump. I surprised the wife just before Xmas when I asked her to sign the papers.
We love HHI and we're only 3 1/2 hours away so it's nice to have a second or third home so close. We were down there for Xmas on the Disney Visa offer and it was a great time.

Duh! I wasn't even thinking straight. I guess I could have done the math. I'm glad to hear that you like HH so much. It helps with making our decision a little easier. Couldn't decide if HH was the way to go or not. But, I really think it is for us.

We went the HH route. Combination of price per point, lower mf's and 11 month advantage for the summer. Plus, it's 1/2 the drive than to WDW. (Of course, we usually fly to MCO. Our flight route takes us directly over HH too.)

Just closed and we're on the system as of yesterday.
