Before we have always had hopper plus passes. I remember with them, if you used one of your days at a water park you could only go to the main parks, in the eve by using one of those days.

Is it the same with the unlimted park hopper that you get with a package? or can I go to a park in the am, or eve, and a water park in the afternoon?

A UPH allows you to come and go from any Disney park without having to keep track of anything. You have total ability to go to as many parks/gated attractions in one day as you can. There are no plus options to count or anything. It's all included. That's why they call in Unlimited Park Hopper.
