We (me, husband, 15 year old son, and brother-in-law) are staying at PBH over Labor Day weekend. Arriving on Thursday, August 29 until Labor Day. I read your post about room recommendations and since you are staying the same weekend we are there, obviously, you have requested the best rooms in the house. What rooms do you suggest we request? We have deluxe pool view (Ent. Rate of $180 Yea!). I would like to have a balcony, if possible, and a view of the fireworks. We will have two rooms, since my brother-in-law is traveling with us. We can have two queen rooms or one queen and one king.

Any help is appreciated since you are the expert on PBH and this is our first time there. We have stayed at HRH, but I am looking forward to this visit staying at PBH!

That's a nice complement, but I'm no expert I just bug the staff to death.LOL Okay first of all I don't think were gonna get fireworks from reports I'm hearing they are over with unless they kick up for Labor Day weekend. You may want to request room 2663 this room has a balcony and two queen beds in it and it over looks the beach pool and you will be amazed and think they did the fireworks just for you as they look as if there landing at your toes! Aww it was so romantic to sit out there and watch them with my DH. I am not ashamed to tell you I was in a hot bath when he stepped out on the balcony and started shouting COME HERE, I grabbed a robe and ran it was just amazing. Anyways, if the fireworks are not going on you may want to consider room 2676 this is a queen room with a balcony overlooking the Villa Pool and the room ajacent to it would be 2678 and I'm not sure what the bedding for that room was I know it connected to our balcony. There our only 22 rooms with balconys. And all of these rooms are smoking rooms so beaware of that if it's going to upset anyone. We smoke and that's why we like the balcony's we don't smoke in the house at home. We have guest coming on this trip and they will be 5 rooms down from us and I can't wait to get there! We will be down there on the 29th but it'll be late so were not checking in till 30th in the a.m. I'd love to said hello as i do to most strangers i met>LOL How will I know you if your on the boat ride with us?lOL If I open my mouth within ear shot of you you'll hear my south accent! If I can help you in any other way let me know.

Thanks very much for the info. I didn't realize that the balcony rooms were all smoking. I will have to think about that. We don't smoke and I would prefer a non-smoking room; so I may not want the balcony room.

I'm sorry about disappointing you. But I remembered Billy telling me that. There are some awesome beach pool del rooms that have great views. All the rooms have hugh celing to floor windows that are wide like a slider door. You may want to give them a call. Another thing for your next stay there. PBH assigned there room numbers a month or better in advance I would give them a 60 day notice for what room numbers I wanted when you find on you really like. If you call I'm sure they will help you find the perfect room. I know we'll be on the same floor! It's exciting to know a fellow dis is there enjoying the parks with you at the same time! I hope you guys have a wonderful time I'll be the simi red head with a big tall man with black hair and we both were glasses so if you pass us in the halls says hi! There should be another couple with us so we'll be easy to spot you'll prob be staying to the right exit of the pool elevators and we'll be to the left! Have a great time.
