Party size at Cinderella's Royal Table

I have just been lurking the dinning reservations and when i have played around with our party size i can sometimes find reservations for our family of 5, but when i put in 7 (grandparents coming along for this trip) there is nothing ever available.

What is the best way to handle making this type of reservation?

You could book a 5 and 2 as separate reservations and then request to be seated near each other when you arrive. I'd suggest arriving early if you are going to do that.

I know they can seat parties of 8 because I have booked it before.

I have made ADR's for 9 at CRT, but I called. If you already have one for 5 and cannot change it to 7, book another for two at the same time, and then talk to someone when you check in. I have always been accomodated, even at CRT, but I have always been willing to be seated at separate tables in the even the restaurant was not able to seat us together.
