hey guys,

i got a question re: larger parties. usually it's just my parents and my family but this year it's some friends and sister-in-law's family.

so we r 8 adults and 3 kids. these r our usual eats. will these places allow parties of 11 or will they split us up and if so do they try to get u buy each other.

also what about pulling tables together. if we can't book as 11 will the place pull tables together. i know narcossee's tables are bolted down so that that's out.

we r planning:

1. Narcoos
2. Flying Fish
3. Jiko
4. Cal Grill
5. Yachtman's
6. Artist Point (if we decide to not stay up at club level that night)
7. Citricos (if we decide to not eat up at club level)

thanks soooo much!

We are a party of 15 this trip. We wanted narcoosee's, but they only seat large parties at 5:30. We wanted to eat there during wishes.

California grill allows parties up at 12 at any seating, so my guess is that they will accommodate that size party together. That what we chose with parties of 12 & 3.

We ate at Yachtsman in 2010 as a party of 12 and they put us at 2 tables of 6 that were semi-close to each other, not right next to each other, but across the aisle and sort of diagonal from one another. I was disappointed as I had hoped we would have been seated altogether. We'd had the ADR for several months, so it wasn't a last minute thing. That was our only meal together as a group, so I don't have any large group experience with the other places on your list.

We were a party of 13 and were never split up, even when we were at seperate tables they were always next to each other. We didn't eat at any of the places you listed though. We mostly did character meals.Good luck!

We are also a party of 13 and we have been separated a couple of times-but tables were always close--I think Coral Reef we sat separate. In January we had to make 2 reservations at San Angel's for a party of 7 and a party of 6--but were told we would be seated close together
