Party of 10....Do I need to call?

Hi.
I will need to make reservations soon for my Christmas through New Year's pre cruise stay for a party of 10. Will I need to call Disney Dining or can I go online? Which opens sooner?

Most restaurants will let you book online, but there are some that you'll have to call. You could do some trial online bookings - choose the restaurants you are interested in, pick a date in early December, input party of 10 and see if shows any times available. I just tried Chefs, Liberty Tree Tavern aand Sci Fi for Dec 2 and they all showed multiple times available for a party of 10.

I just booked for our party of 12 yesterday online with no issues.

I tried today to do a party of 12 at Sci-fi or 50's for dec 14th and nothing was available. DO you think if I call they would have anything or are they truly booked 180 days out?

you would have to call for Narcoosees or Beaches & Cream for sure since they don't have any tables for a party that large. Might be able to assemble one though.

For my SCI-FI party of 8 we had to book 2 reservations

With ALLLLLL my planning, I had in my head that my reservation window opened today, MONDAY, June 30.

Imagine my surprise when I was sitting in my yard yesterday afternoon relaxing when I check my emails on my phone and see an e-mail from Disney, "You can begin to reserve your Dining now". OMG I said to my dh, I am so annoyed Disney's card they sent me says December 30. How could I be wrong, not I. Well, I march up to my bedroom where my information is and sure enough, June 29 is/was my day

So, approximately 2:00 pm I call Disney Dining and got all my reservations (although only 3 since we are there for a pre cruise stay but VERY busy time of year!).

Victoria and Alberts - December 26, party of 2 for 9 pm. (I wanted 8 or 8:30 pm, so V&A put me on a waitlist but I do have 9:00 pm).

Chef Mickeys - December 27 for 4:45 pm for a party of 10

OHana - December 28 for 6:15 pm for a party of 10

SOOOOO happy and cannot believe with allll the questions and prep work, I was off by a full day!
