Ok, so this will be our first trip in April and I went through a travel agent for everything, including our dining reservations... I told her it would be myself, my husband, DD (5), and our 5 month old DS... I called disney today to get our reservation #s for the 6 dining meals we will be having... Well, she said the reservation was only for 3 people... Which I was assuming that our 5 month old wouldn't count as a spot for the reservation, well the lady from disney said we should have had a reservation for 4 even though he is an infant... What am I to do? Everything is already booked up, we've had these reservations for months... I'm stressing thinking they're going to turn us away when we show up with 4 for our 3 party reservations...

Hollywood and vine, tusker house, chef mickeys, Cinderella's royal table, akershus, and the tomorrow land dessert party

I really, really, really would not worry about it AT ALL. Just show up with 4 and tell them the travel agent made the error, if it even gets questioned - chances are they won't even blink an eye at you.. Truth is the vast majority of Disney restaurants are set up with 2-seat, 4-seat and 6-seat for tables...when they need bigger tables, they push together smaller tables. The 2 tops are tiny--just barely room for 2 people's plates/glasses, etc. They do not put 3 people at 2-top tables...so they would seat a party of 3 at a 4-seat table anyway. You'll be fine showing up with 4 at a 3-person reservation since they'd give you a 4-seat table anyway. There are very very few places that have a few 3-seat tables...in all the times we have gone with 3 in our party (which is OFTEN) we have never been sat anywhere except 4-top tables. And we have been in almost all of the Disney restaurants.

Where the problem usually happens is a party of 2 showing up with 3 people...since they do have 2-seat tables, and could not squeeze 3 onto the 2-seat table...then they would have to come up with a 4-seater table they weren't counting on in the reservations.

Since the 4th person you're bringing is an infant that would be no charge anyway, even at the pre-paid meals like Cinderella's & the Dessert Party...I really wouldn't worry about it. Just show up.

you are fine. A table set for 3 will always accommodate 4 people.

you run into problems if you are 2 trying to squeeze 3 at a table. there are many 2 person specific table sizes.

Most likely you will be fine. But it is true that the infant should have been counted on the reservation. It's a bit surprising that the travel agent didn't know that.
