Hello, we had one of our massive party drop out of our next trip.
ADRs were made for 17 and 7 respectively with him included.

Should i call back and have them change the ADRs to reflect the new number of diners? Or doesn't it matter that much for one person?

Don't worry about it. It would be different if you were trying to add a person, but one less person won't matter at all.

We had an ADR for Boma three weeks ago. My son and his girlfriend decided to stay at EPCOT instead of dining with us. When we arrived at Boma, we told them we were a party of two instead of four - no problem.

Last year we had an ADR at O'Hana for a party of 11 at 6:30 (perfect for Wishes and Water Parade). It turned out we were only going to be 8, but when I called to adjust the number they said they had to do a completely new ADR and the only time they had was 9:00! I did not change the ADR and it was no problem when we arrived at the restaurant and told them there was less in our party. In short...don't change your ADR.

Just be sure to check your bill when you get it. We had one member of our party skip our breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and even though we told the girl at the podium that there would only be 11 of us instead of 12 we were still charged for 12. Apparently the server didn't notice (what with all the kids hopping around from one table to another) and we didn't notice the error until after we'd left the restaurant.

Well I would think that if it were somewhere like CRT where they take a credit card in advance and you need to cancel 24 hrs in advance that maybe it would make a difference there. Otherwise, that's a heck of an oversight  ...

We didn't have to hold the ADR with a credit card or anything. We just had to use 2 tables and had 5 kids that kept changing seats. Even while she was trying to take drink orders. No wonder the poor girl couldn't keep a head count. Our fault, not hers.
