Party Help

We will be hosting a small get-together of our Orlando friends in our suite at the WL. I want to get some sort of food trays, but don't know where. All I am looking for is cheese and crackers, veggies, chips, etc. I would prefer not to get this stuff from Disney if I can get it somewhere else nearby

Also, if I pickup the trays a few hours before the party, will the WL put them in a fridge for me? They certainly won't fit in the little on we have in the room. We will have a cooler for drinks, but I doubt if a veggie-type tray would fit.

And one last thing, can I get a cake somewhere too? I know I can order on from the BW Bakery, maybe in a Mickey shape, but it would be nice if I could do it all in one stop.

You can do it all in one stop at the Goodings Grocery store in the plaza across the street from the disney village market place.

Great store..wonderful food, and they do adorable cakes.

Don't know if they will deliver to you or not..you could ask.

Thanks! Disney village market place, is that Downtown Disney? I found the Gooding's web site so I certainly will call them. I see they have catering, but that is more than I really want to do.

Yep..the downtown disney area.

They are a regular grocery store..you should be able to order the trays and cake..no problem.

I like Publix --- their cakes aren't too bad (and I'm not a fan of Grocery store cakes generally). Also - their regular groceries are a bit cheaper than Goodings (Don't know about platters..).


There is one right behind the Orlando Premium Outlets that are about 2 miles from Downtown Disney (It's about another mile farther than Goodings).

Publix..I can take it or leave it. For special things..Goodings is definately the place to go.
