party games

Good evening everyone I am looking for your suggestions I am having a BBQ birthday party on the 30th July and would like some ideas for some party games that both adults and children can play , we like physical games as my last party we had people doing the splits and all sorts so there are no limits ( a few glasses of vino had been drunk at this point) so if any one has any great ideas please post

My dd adores this game and it usually results in adults joining in which can get rather funny especially after a few drinks nd adults lose their ability to balance!!

Its usually around £10 tops !!

if you have a lot of space a good old fashioned game of boules is fun, amazing how competitive some of the men folk can be I think you can pick up a set for about a tenner.

We also have a few 'giant' games of snakes and ladders and noughts and crosses again quite cheap and you find that the oldies will play along with the kids..to show them how it's done.

I am sure you will have fun anyway

A fun (especially after the vino, but that kids enjoy as well) game that is very cheap.

Take a large cardboard box, the type that a 24 pack of beer is sold in, everyone stands in a circle (or square, traingle etc whatever your favourite shape is) and everyone has to pick the box up with their teeth without using their hands on the floor, table chairs etc. when everyone has done it a 'layer' is torn of the box, this can be any width depending on how long you want the game to last, when someone cant pick the box up they are out

Virtually everyone will be able to pick the box up to start but it can get a lot more tricky as the game goes on, sometimes ending up with a small scrap of cardboard and 2 or 3 very flexible players
