Hi

We are having our daughters 7th birthday party at home and she has invited 23 children and all of them has said yes :scared1: We invited alot of people thinking hey they all wont be able to go, but we have been nice and invited them. Was I wrong everyone said yes. Not like on her 6th birthday only 5 were able to come, so we took them to a panto instead.

Panic stations are setting in now. All I cant think of is the usual.

Parce the parcel
Musical bumps
Musical Chairs
Pin the donkey

We are having the children for 2 hours. I was hoping to have a few games to keep them all entertained. So no one gets bored and my house stays the same as before. No drawing on walls or jumping on chairs and then finding out I need a new chair.

Oh my I am so nervous now. Wish I said no or at least only invited a few and went to an indoor place.

Any ideas? I need some advice and some support to tell me it will be fine to have 23 kids in your house :rotfl2:

You are mad:sad2:

By the time you play a few games and feed them there wont be much time left. I usually do musical bumps, musical statues, pass the parcel and something like the best dancer competition - little girls love this princess: .

The kids also seem to like a Pinata - you can get those in Woolworths. You can also hide fun size chocs around the room/garden and everyone has to hunt one down:rolleyes:

Most importantly have a bottle of wine in the fridge chilling for after the monsters go home:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi
Know what your going through:)

My advice no matter how much it costs let Ronald Macdonald
sort it all out for you i've found its less aggro and a lot tidier:thumbsup2

if your having a home party you are a brave brave woman:rotfl:

23 kids you must be mad:lmao:

How about the chocolate game where you all sit in a circle and throw a dice if you get a 6 you have to put on things like hat, scarf, gloves then with a knife and fork try and eat the chocolate before another person gets a 6.

Buy small boxes of smarties give everyone a straw and have a race how many smarties they can pick by sucking on the straw and putting in a pile.

In pass the parcel put a nice forfeit in too.

Have fun you brave woman!

Here are a few:

-Duck, duck goose....children go round the circle saying duck, duck when they get to the person they want they say goose that person has to chance them around till the orginal person is back at the other persons place.

-Body parts...same kinda thing as musical bumps etc, except the children are paired up, when the music stops you shout a body part.i.e and both the kids have to put their heads together etc.

- Treasure hunt

- relay races

- bean game...shout things like jumping beans, broad beans etc and children jump, stretch, frozen beans...they freeze...beans on the toast all the kids run together and huddle in the middle.

Or if you can get your hands on a parachute kids love them!!!

Hi Michelle, don't forget 'sleeping soldiers', that should keep them out of mischief for a while :rotfl:

From experience children like party games as it makes a change from all the disco/skating/swimming/pottery etc. etc. type parties. With 23 children coming you had better make it two bottles of wine
