I know this isn't a restraunt, but it is a meal. Does anyone have any info or advice on this. This is something I want to try, but am still a little on the edge about.

Party of the Senses is a special event held during the Food and Wine fest each fall at EPCOT Center. F&W usually runs from the beginning of October until Mid November...six weeks. POS is usually on a Friday/Saturday night. I know last year they increased the number of them because there are so many people interested in attending.

Food, wine and entertainment (the concert before hand and inside) is included in the price.

There are stations of food/wine set up all over the world showplace (old millenium village) You have about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to try everything.

Dates won't be released until mid summer sometime, and then reservations will open up. It is a lot of fun.

We attended Party for the Senses this past year, and highly recommend it--the cost is somewhere around $100 per person as I recall, and it is a bargain--would not have felt cheated at double the cost. Last year was our first time, but we will book again this year.

We had one of the best evenings we've ever had at Disney, which is saying alot! Two things I would note, however:

1. Its not really for kids. There were a few kids there, but they were not enjoying it. It is really an adult function.
2. If you are a non-drinker you probably wouldn't enjoy it, as the wine flows freely!

The whole evening was themed as a sensory overload with food, wine, music, and the Cirqe de Solie performers. Awesome.

I didn't realize the Cirque de Soleil performers were there last year! What was their performance like? Was there live music?

I've read you have to rush to grab a seat at Party for the Senses, otherwise you can expect to stand around and eat and drink (like at a cocktail party). Did you find this to be true, and was it uncomfortable?

Also, how long did the event last?

Thanks!

Yes it is true. But, on the other hand, we never try and grab a seat. It would seem you do more walking if you have to go back and forth to your table (and take up time you could be using for eating and drinking :) ). We just go from station to station. Yes, we are standing but very little walking.

The event runs from 6:30 to 9.

Last year they had a great deal more tables & seats available when compared to prior years.

It is a really great event, a 'must-do' for us! :)

Are there any discounts for this event? AP, DVC, DDE ?

We'll be there on the first weekend this year and our Fla friends are going to join us for the party ! :smooth:

No discounts for us either..ever. None every announced.

It is great fun. Last year there seemed to be plenty of tables.

You could enjoy it without the alcohol, as the food is wonderful and that could keep you busy all night all by itself.

Definately not for kids.

Last year was the first year for the cirque performers. Who knows what the entertainment will be this year.
