H as anyone been to Party for the Senses this year? We are going 10/27/2007 and have never been . Thank You, Michele :cool1:

We love it! It is getting very, very, expensive, but for us, we 'treat' ourselves. WDW does a top notch job on this. We've met such great people sharing our table and chatting. There is lots of wine, beer and gourmet food samples there. Cirque is fantastic, wish it lasted longer though. Be sure and get there as soon as they open so you get your money's worth.

Can you explain the timing to me? If they give priority seating to the 5:45pm Eat to the Beat concert, how do you get there in time for the 6:30pm start?

What time do people start lining up? What time do they let people in?

Thanks!

If you're going to be in Epcot more than one day, I would skip the concert and catch it on another night. We went to the concert the first year we went to PFTS, and by the time it was over, the only table left were the stand up kind. Needless to say, we got very tired before the evening was over. Go straight to the location for the PFTS, give them your name and be there early if you want a table with chairs.

Thank You for the input about the party. Can't wait we go this Saturday 10/27. We love F&W DH and I go every year just never did the party.

I don't care at all about a table and chair but I do want to get inside and start eating right at 6:30 or a few minutes later because I don't want to miss any of the party. What time does the 5:45pm concert end? Is it just the listed band or also a warm-up act?Do they start on time? It would be perfect for me if it ended at 6:15 and we boogied right over to PFTS and got in right at 6:35 or so AFTER the cattle run for tables when they open the curtains!

The Village People won't be there any other night that we can attend.

Are there tables with chairs? Do you really need to sit? Isn't it more like a cocktail party to walk around and mingle?

If you're coordinated enough to hold a wine glass, your plate, and eat with a fork, then no, you don't need to sit. I can't do that very well, so I like to have a table, and yes, there are tables with chairs.

Not sure if I could do it either but sometimes I surprise myself:rotfl2: .Have you gone this year? How do the people dress? Thank You,Michele

No, we haven't been yet this year, but in past years I would call it a little less than business casual. Guys in collared shirts and Dockers (no ties), ladies in anything from pants to capris to skorts.

i really really wanted to do the PFTS this year, but DH isn't one for walking around with a plate in one hand and a glass in the other....:upsidedow

he likes to have a seat and a table - oh, and he hates crowds.

and unfamiliar foods.

so.... we're not going.

but someday i'll go to one - even if i go alone and he does rides in EP by himself for a couple of hours!

everytime we've gone to the PFTS, folks have sat at our table with us and have drank, ate and chatted and when we've had the stand up tables, same thing happened. To us, that's been part of the fun. We've met some wonderful folks.
