Party for the Senses....what to wear?

Just wondering what most people wear to this event? Dressy? Nice resort wear? Please help!

We are going to our first "party" on the 30th. I've been told that nice resort wear is okay for the ladies. Don't know about men's wear. But my question is - tennis shoes or dress flats (no way I'm wearing heels)?

We have been the last few years and although it used to be fairly dressy, it is less so now. Resort casual works, or if you want to dress up a little bit that's okay to. I think I saw many more dress flats than tennis shoes. Enjoy!!

When I booked the event the CM told me the dress code was "smart casual".
