I posted this over on the Theme Parks board, but didn't get any responses. I am hoping that since it is somewhat food related, this board might be more appropriate...

Usually I don't care about the EttB concerts, but this time...AL STEWART is playing the night we plant to do PftS! So...I understand we get some sort of a reserved section at the 5:45 show. We will be putting our DD8 into a kid's club, Camp Dolphin. She has stayed at many kid's clubs and she specifically requested this one (it's her favorite), and unfortunately, her LEAST favorite kid's club is The Sandcastle Club at the Beach Club, which would also be convenient.

Here's my main question....The Camp Dolphin does not open until 5:30! The woman who works there (that really awesome Jamaican lady, I forgot her name but she has worked there for quite a long time) said she wouldn't mind coming in at 5 pm. Would that give us enough time to be seated at the concert? Will we be stuck with crummy seats because we will be late (get there about 5:20, I guess.) I want to hear from those who have experienced the 5:45 show, especially those that also do PftS and are familiar with that reserved section.

One more question...will they give us our wristbands for PftS at the concert? Will that be our "official" PftS check in, or will we still have to check in at the PftS tent?

Thanks so much!

Crummy seats??
I have been to many of the concerts, and have not seen them packed full very often. I believe that getting there at 5:20, you would be fine for a 5:45 seating. Though, I must disclaim that by saying I have absolutely no idea how big of crowd to expect will be there listening to Time Passages.
The concert should run 35 minutes at most.

The queu for the reseved section was a roped off area on the left of the pavillion. We got in line, CM with clipboard came by, checked our names, gave us wristbands. So yes, you can get your wristband there. We did that last year. Then just flashed the wristband at PFTS entrance to pick up our plate and glass. HTH.

Thanks! I have never been to an EttB show, and I never even really paid attention to the amphitheatre it is presented at, so I did not know if there are "good seats" and "bad seats."

Ahhh, how I love "Time Passages!" When DH and I dated in the early 80's, we saw AS twice in concert, so this is kind of cool for us!

I appreciate the info about the wristbands, too. Thanks so much.:hippie:
