Party Every Day - Updated 8/29/10

Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to look for them and get a pic of JC, for old times' sake. I think that's what he'd want.

Hahaha, I agree! I think he'd be honored! :rotfl: Btw, JC was my favorite too. I got a crazy hot orange t-shirt from one of their concerts with just him and some Japanese writing on it - it was great.

:scared1: Your Chasez tee was hot yellow. MY JT one was hot orange!!

After a day of reading I'm all caught up! This TR is awesome :thumbsup2 My brother and I are similar to you guys in our love for Wizards, Sonny, Disney Channel in general lol. We are staying at the Poly in August for the first time :cool1: I watch GH if only I could watch it on our breaks from the parks, If only I had a sister....:rotfl: I'll be following you guys on twitter like I did last time! My twitter name is @nal107!

Also JC was my fave too :) I saw them in Madison Square Garden and than got a JC Chasez collectors doll from FAO Schwartz!! My friends and I used to trade/collect Nsync postcards!

I never knew that NSYNC had their faces on the Leave a Legacy! I *have* to find those on my next trip!!

I absolutely love the "Jonas's" thing. It really makes me so happy! Haha, my kids would think I'm wacko, but I really do get excited about proper grammar!

I should somehow incorporate the pickle tree ornament thing in my lesson plans. I obviously can't hide a pickle, but I should tell them that we're going to have a "word of the day." If at the end of the day they can tell me at one point I used the word or in what context, they'll get a prize. Of course, prize may just mean pat on the back since I'm a poor teacher ... haha. So many of my kids are just the opposite of observant and attentive!

AHHHHHHHHHH, Nsync?!? Haha, I was obsessed with them at one point! I'd love to be able to see that in real life! JC looks so cute before he got all gross. I saw you wrote the location down for someone else. I'll have to jot that down somewhere for my personal reference!

:rotfl: I totally had those marionette dolls from FAO Schwarz as well! Along with some *NSYNC bobble heads. I'm feeling a bit left out here for being the only non-JC lover, though! Where are all my fellow Justin fanatics?! :lovestruc But I must say that you and your brother have impeccable taste! :thumbsup2

I never knew that NSYNC had their faces on the Leave a Legacy! I *have* to find those on my next trip!!

So delighted that everyone's loving the *NSYNC pics! We make a pilgrimage to those beautiful photos every trip and highly recommend you check them out! :goodvibes

You should definitely check out the *NSYNC photos! You'll be able to spot them because they're super worn down compared to all the other pictures. I would love to play the pickle game in a word version! :thumbsup2

Just another note to say, I am loving your report! You gals really know how to just have a good time. Love it. Hope the March trip was lots of fun. I look forward to your updates :goodvibes

Thanks so much! :goodvibes The March trip was fantastic! I hope to have another update up for this TR in the next couple of days. :thumbsup2

And, we're back! We had a fabulous trip to the Beach Club last week, and although I told myself I wouldn't do it since I'm still working on this TR, I'll probably be starting a TR for that trip soon. :rolleyes1 It was just too good not to write about! Anyway, I am happy to now bring you more September merriment.

After a late night, what with turning in at about 10:30 pm following our viewing of the Wizards film, we decided to reward ourselves by sleeping in and chillin’ at the Poly. :thumbsup2 We had been planning on going to MGM this morning, but decided to switch around some plans and head to Epcot, where it wasn’t as important to get to so early. We awoke at around 9, got ourselves ready at a nice leisurely pace, and then Liz and I headed out to Captain Cooks to procure some food. It was a lovely, quiet morning at the Poly.

We also stopped at the Kona coffee bar where I got a good cup of coffee (crazy, I know ) and Liz got an adorable Mickey-shaped chocolate chip cookie with chocolate dipped ears!

1764.jpg

For breakfast, Liz and I both got the Tonga Toast.

1761.jpg

1763.jpg

I’d tried it previously at Kona, and found it to be totally disgusting because it was incredibly greasy and sort of hard from too much frying, I guess. I’m not sure what compelled me to give it another go, but I’m glad I did because it was much, much better this time! :) It was yummy, but very heavy. I’d probably feel gross eating this for breakfast more than once a year! During breakfast, we enjoyed a showing of Little Einsteins and learned about Edvard Grieg. What a very cultured day we were setting ourselves up for.

After enjoying our breakfasts and some exciting entertainment, we strolled over to the TTC and were pleased to quickly hop onto a monorail. We were also pleased to find Epcot not very crowded.

Our first order of business was a ride on Spaceship Earth.

Here we are, enjoying our futures!

Next up was another big-ticket attraction – the Environmental Fable, of course! This is Laura’s fav, so of course she loved it, and we all had a grand old time.

After the Fable, we wandered over to Soarin’ and picked up some FPs. Next up was a journey over to Figment – another huge crowd pleaser! Ah, Figment, always a delight. We played for a few in the imagination station, and then decided to play some more in Innoventions.

1789.jpg

When we entered, we found this amazing station where we could create our very own Velcro frog dolls that we could dress in any Velcro clothes our hearts desired – and then we could keep our creations for free! :cloud9: Wow, what a treat. We adored this and stayed dressing up our frogs for ages. We ended up with Brenda Walsh (due to her fancy tie – Brenda Walsh often sported ties, and her Barbie even came equipped with one, along with some very long shorts) – mine, Charles – Laura’s (wearing Mickey ears), and Jayden (holding a ball/ the sun) – Liz’s. They were dressed in skirts, but are all boys.

In keeping with the theme of bizarre activities we would participate in this day, we ventured into the Great Piggy Bank Adventure in Innoventions, wherein we carried around a little plastic pig to various video game-type stations. We had to pick which goal we wanted to save for – a vacation, college, or something else that I can’t remember. We chose a vacation. Then we moved along to a few different weird stations where we played games that were associated with various aspects of saving money, growing interest, etc. It looks and sounds strange, but it was actually lots of fun!

Because we are such savvy savers, we met our goal! :dance3: The piggy bank was so pleased he flew around our screen to congratulate us! :woohoo:

1805.jpg

With our adventure successfully completed, we headed back over to Soarin’ to use the FPs we’d collected earlier. We hate waiting for Soarin’ in that holding area after you've given in your FPs, but luckily we had Jayden, Charles, and Brenda Walsh to keep us occupied. We had way too much fun with them. Looking at these photos, I realize those around us must have thought we were completely insane, but we of course had no such thought at the time! :rotfl:

Following our spin on Soarin’, we made our way over to the World Showcase, enjoying the lovely day and low crowds.

We first enjoyed the outside atmosphere of Mexico, but didn’t make our way inside.

Next up was a trip back, back, over the falls on Maelstrom! Always a delight!

Liz and I backtracked to Mexico to grab some fresh margs after Maelstrom, since we didn’t want to be denied a ride on our fav Norvegian adventure due to the beverages. Fiesta, minus the weird apple (bring back the kiwi, I demand!), for me.

We continued on our journey around the world on this lovely day. We took some time to look around the Chinese pavilion and the building there, which I had never been in!

We enjoyed a bit of Danny Tanner dancing in Germany.

I splashed myself with water from this Venetian fountain because it was sweltering. Liz and Laura were horrified.

Next we stopped to take in a viewing of one of our fav attractions, the Adventure, of course! Ahh, we can travel around the world, but there’s no place like home.

Thanks! :goodvibes Yes, it was a real postcard that Liz was mailing! Real mail is actually picked up from that little mailbox in the U.S., which I didn't know about either - pretty cool!

Wow that is pretty cool and a cute postcard to send too :thumbsup2

I agree! :goodvibes I wonder if the postmark says anything about the mail coming from Epcot... maybe I'll have to send something to myself in September to check it out. :rotfl:

Ooh yeah you should do that. Would be cool to see an Epcot postmark :)
