Partner Hotel Early Entry Before Check-in?

I booked a package with a Universal Partner Hotel. We plan on going to a park before we check into our hotel. My paperwork says to enter my reservation # and swipe my credit card at the machine outside the park and this will print my tickets. From the way it sounds I should be able to do this even though we have not yet checked into the hotel. Has anyone done this? Or can tell me for sure that I'm not missing something?

Also, my email says that Shrek will be open, but I've read on here it was changed to RRR. Is this a temp change or do you think it will be that way still in November?

And while I'm asking questions, is there a wait time app for the Universal Parks?

Yes there is a wait time app through UT. Its pretty accurate too.

Your special code that lets you get early admission is on the ticket that you will get out of the kiosk. Just get your tickets and then show the people who are checking room keys/tickets. You shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks! That makes me feel much better. It's what I thought, I just didn't want to get there and find out I was wrong.
