part two of vacation

Woke up Sunday April 17th to a nice day. We had reservations at AK Dinosausaurus breakfast and arrived with time to go on Dinosaur ride......we all love this ride and always manage to wave to the camera. Walked over to the breakfast sign in and waited a few minutes for our time to come up. Our server was Josh and he was very good with us and the two teens. I love this buffet and the characters were very good also. We saved over 16 dollars with the DDE card and I love to say that. after breakfast we went to get a fast pass for Safari and walked thru to see the animals on the trails. I love to do this . The bats were out and stretching their wings and we enjoyed that. Went back to the Safari and walked right on .......saw alot of animals and enjoyed it. We went back to our Hotel after this and the two kids went swimming. I soaked up some rays and just vegged for a while. We all decided at this time to go to Epcot for supper. We went into Spaceship Earth and it was a walkon. Then over to Soaring as we had the APs and wanted to try this out. They allowed the two grandkids to go on too. Just hubby and I had APs. we came off and the rest of them did it for a second time. NOT ME.......once was plenty for that day. I had an issue with the height even though we were not that high. We then went to Mexico to eat supper and we all had something but to me it was the equivalent of nachos with meat and tomatoes and cheese and jalepenos and sour cream and we all ate happily. Over to test track next and the kids went on it and loved it as usual.
Back to our hotel and the kids and hubby had ice cream and saved another three dollars with the card

Did your grandkids interact with the characters at breakfast? When we were at Universal in January my DS13 wanted nothing to do with the characters there. He seems to have hit the age where he enjoys the rides but the characters are just not cool. I would like to have him in a few of the pictures with my DS7, but I certainly don't want to force him. How did it work for y'all?

to take the photo of the WHOLE group......so not like they singled out the two teens. WE really enjoyed having the kids with us there.

Oh, Pumba, I am so jealous. Not only did you tour the theme parks, you did my favorite vacation activity -- vegging out, ~sigh.~ You lucky, lucky person. (Did I mention how jealous I was of you? )
