I have another food question. Which restaurant would you choose between Citricos and Narcoossee? Have you any experience with these restaurants?

I have heard good things about both, however I do want to try Citricos first for some reason it seems more appealing to me!

Baseball

Last weekend of regular season and Chipper Jones retiring. My girl walked the field with her Girl Scout troop to honour him. So, all I've done is either watch baseball, talk about it, make banners for baseball, tye-dye t-shirts for baseball, cry for baseball etc etc

Aww, always liked Chipper. Seems like a good guy. Glad someone from the UK can appreciate baseball so much.

73 days 'till disney! I'm still waiting on that last TBA CP narrarator to be announced. I already have a CP package booked for 12/15, but if the TBA is who I want it to be for 12/19, I'm going to have to see if I can swap dates (not too sure since I think the booking is non-refundable) or book another package or just try to do it standby. It's our last day at Disney and we're not spending that night on property, so this TBA is an important announcement for our plans!

I can't believe they still haven't filled in that spot. Are you hoping for someone specific or just want to decide who you like better between the two?

Tis official people, we now officially only "2 clicks" away when making our Disney ADRs!!! It is bizarre stuff like that that makes me happy.

Woo-hoo!! I had trouble falling asleep last night. I kept thinking about how I could rework our schedule. I do have work to do today, but hopefully I will have time to check out that ADR calendar.

2 MONTHS TILL DEC!



Awesome!! Feels like just yesterday, it was Aug 1st and we were happy it was 4 months away. We are all getting closer people!

I like what molitva did with things to look forward to before Disney!

October: Humidity tapering off here in S. FL. DD's 2nd birthday! Halloween. Real trick or treating with DD this time around. She's going as pumpkin pie. Last year, she was sushi. (Is it odd I've dressed her up twice as food?) Possibly renting points for Oct trip.

November: DH's b'day, Twilight Breaking Dawn II (bought tickets already! Don't judge!!!) Thanksgiving nom nom nom and some days off with Tday/Vet Day

December: Officially packing and then driving up to WDW! Post trip: Photopass pics, doing my TR, checking in with all y'all, Christmas, New Years and planning for WDW in October!

I know the feeling. We hit that on 9/29. Now that it's October I can finally say NEXT MONTH

Can't wait! However, there is one thing I'm not looking forward to and that would be that once our vacation gets here, it will go by too quickly. We'll be home before we know it

I have never paid attention to sport, not my bag , until I moved here. I seriously LOVE LOVE LOVE baseball, it is a beautiful game. I go to as many games as I can (we're only 35mins from Turner Field) and I'm the one screaming and jumping up and down like a loon, totally over-excited

The game on Saturday was great! Although, took my Mum and we had an issue with one of the Ushers and my Mum in an ECV ... called Turner Field to complain and they have invited us to be their guests next season

Hello all! My weekend was busy but good. I'm pretty stressed today because of house stuff. (I have a mortgage, which we've just stopped paying with my ex. Our renter hasn't paid rent in two and a half months and was supposed to move out at the end if September and hasn't.) It sucks a lot.

Right now, I'm waiting for the L to work. I'm hoping for lots of DIS time at work today.

Haha. Yup. And, honestly? I don't really care. We've stopped paying the mortgage and whatever, you know? It isn't like I'm going to live in a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house on my own. Ha!

Bummer that you had an issue, but nice that you get a free game next year. Sounds like Disney

I'm really hoping for Edward James Olmos. If it's anyone else we'll probably just stick with our original plan (Olivia Newton John). Olmos has done it several times before, so I'm really surprised his name hasn't shown up this year. Fingers crossed!

Everytime I go to a Braves game, they lose. For the sake of the City of Atlanta, I've decided not to attend any more this season. I got to see Chipper this year (they lost) so I'm happy. Now....if they play the Pirates at Turner field I might have to attend, for the sake of the City of Pittsburgh

1 or 2 words to sum up the weekend..... okay. It was just okay, not great, not terrible, just another weekend to pass by to get closer to WDW!

Here's our next couple months:

Oct: Thanksgiving (we're Canadian so it's next Monday for us), and then Halloween. This month should fly by between that stuff, ds's cross country season wrapping up, dd starting choir, all the kids doing swimming lessons on Saturdays. Should be busy!

Nov: Breaking Dawn Part 2, it'll be a dh and me date night as we also have to go on a shopping day for Christmas gifts for kids so that'll be fun! Kids also get fall break in mid-Nov so the get a week off school, then at the end of the month it'll be time for Disney!!!

Hectic & Sad

Hectic = took a bunch of clothes back to Talbot's (online order stuff that didn't work). Bought a bunch of stuff that did work. Got home only to find a 25% off coupon in my e-mail. All the new stuff then had to go BACK to Talbot's to use said coupon. Did I mention the closest Talbot's is a 35 minute drive from my house? There went all of Saturday!.

Sad = Dad took a new job in St. Louis (we live in Kansas City) and left yesterday to move out there. It's a fantastic opportunity with a great company, and he only has to work 4 days a week, so he'll still be in KC a lot, but still, we'll all miss him! The poor dogs knew something was up and whined like crazy and moped around for hours after he left.

Nov: Breaking Dawn Part 2, it'll be a dh and me date night as we also have to go on a shopping day for Christmas gifts for kids so that'll be fun! Kids also get fall break in mid-Nov so the get a week off school, then at the end of the month it'll be time for Disney!!!

I have never seen 1 minute or read 1 page of the Twilight series. So, I'm not too excited about Breaking Dawn. The November movie that I'm more looking forward to is the re-make of RED DAWN.

I don't know if it will be good. But I loved the original. I was just a boy when I saw it the 1st time. But I don't know anyone that wasn't amped by seeing that movie.

As for my 1 to 2 word weekend...

Pain & pleasure

The weekend started off with a series of migraines. But luckily, BDLsgal was there to nurse me back to health. Yesterday, was pleasure. We hung out with the family at my Elks lodge and watched the Pats get back on track. Unfortunately, BDLsgal is now felling the pain from trying to keep up with our friends' very energetic 3 yr old boy.
