I almost bought the pink one but decided to go for the red instead. I don't think you can go wrong with either grumpy or donald!

The red is GREAT for a Christmas time trip! I'm sure we'll both wear the red shirts on our MVMCP night.

It's done! We are now staying at WL from Dec. 1-8! We decided to for-go the rental car so it's Disney transportaion all the way.

Because we are a chatty bunch and I can't find the page where it was disscussed, can someone tell me what site I can order groceries from if we wanted to buy a few things?

These are our dates exactly and we are also at WL!

FINALLY got a chance to try on the thermal shirts that came today. I'm 6'1" and Disney Store T-shirts tend to run short on me so I ordered both the men's and women's versions.

The ladies' shirts look like they'll be super clingy, but really aren't bad once you have them on. The men's shirts are a bit thicker and warmer than the ladies though, and are a ton longer. The result - Sissy (who is tall at 5'10") and I are now fighting over who gets the men's shirts and who gets "stuck" with the ladies'!

If anyone's looking for warm shirts for their trip, for $12 these seem to be a great deal! (And I totally blame this roll call for talking me into ordering more Disney shirts when I already have a dresser drawer full!!!)

UGH! I had two of those then took them back to the Disney Store.....in order to get them big enough for my ahem....top half.....the arms were so long, like to my knees! :( Now I want those shirts back, monkey arms and all :lmao:

If I in millions I will be the proud owner of a house in Golden Oaks. That's the dream.

Hubby and I looked through that website last weekend......and we just couldn't agree on which one we'd buy.......so I guess we won't be able to make the purchase :rotfl2:

Good morning! 9 weeks here :cheer2:

Anyone driving down? How long is your drive and what time of the day do you plan on leaving? Any stops along the way?

googlemaps says we have a 451 mile trip (or 7hrs 41 mins). With a few reststops to fuel up and to grab lunch, we're probably looking at 8.5-9 hours. Of course I want to leave as early as possible in the morning. DBF on the other hand doesn't want to budge below 8 a.m. :faint:

Seeing this

makes me happy today. that is all. kinda.

We are going to HS after nap :) but AK for the AM bc our first night is AKL ;)

Ahh. I based our park days on what night each park had their EMH night. So those are first with a second, non-EMH day for Epcot and MK. I also had to make sure that we planned around the early closing for HS on 12/5 due to Pop Warner. Which worked out well, b/c HS's EMH night is on 12/2. I finally have a chance on riding RnRC!

We are driving down! We will leave at 430 am and arrive in DTD around 10 or 1030 am!
We will have lunch at Trex and shop a little then check into ASmu for one night and the next morning check into POR and head to MK! Cant wait!!

What about those of us driving UP? hehehe Drive time, just shy of 3 hrs.

Stops? hmm Fl Turnpike, perhaps a bathroom/coffee break. :rotfl:

Every time I head north, say to go to Palm Beach, I think "if only I could keep driving more, I'd be at Disney."

we will be at port orleans-riverside from dec 13-20 this is over 1st december visit and i cant wait to see the decorations

We are 583 miles from WDW - about 9 hours and 50 minutes but we usually stop just south of Jacksonville which takes about 7 hours. The next morning we leave about 9:00 to arrive in Disney 3 hours later. :cheer2:

If I win millions I will be the proud owner of a house in Golden Oaks. That's the dream.

That is a good one. But for me, if I won, I'd get my team of lawyers to negotiate with Disney to buy 2 rooms at POR, which will be reserved for me, BDLsgal, our families and guests. Included in the deal will be park passes (including water and Soleil) and dining for all staying in those rooms. Also included would be AP perks, resorts and park-wise, for anyone that I refer. That way, friends and fellow DIS-ers can reap some of the benefits.

Golden Oaks is beautiful. But 2 things... 1) I need to have my seasons. So I don't think I could live in FLA. 2) At GA, you have to clean your own house. At POR, you get Mouse Keeping. :thumbsup2

1. Remember us when you win.
2. If you have that much $, you won't be cleaning your home at GA
3. I moved out of MA to escape the winter season (though it's fun to visit!). We do have seasons here. Spring is fall (things turn brown then) and fall is spring (raining season so everything is green). Haha
Our seasons are
-Gorgeous Delightful "This is why I moved here" Months Late Oct-April/early May.
-May-June rainy season
-Hot (but *if* you live near the beach, it ain't so bad, so you kinda love it because all the snowbirds are gone, and people think it is bad when in reality it isn't all that bad. So you have the restaurants and beaches all to yourself. You happily agree with relatives and people out of the area that is "sooooo god awful" this time of year and so you keep the myth alive.) And in reality, it is just as humid in NY/Boston, but just more a/c here.
-Early October -when you wonder when it will eventually cool down a bit, but you realize the season is coming because the sun isn't directly overhead. Then suddenly (come mid or later Oct), you wake up and go outside to walk the dog and there is a cool, dry breeze.

Ok, so after an hour of trying to convince myself I could switch to WL, I decided to stay at CSR and keep the preferred room. I made the last payment. NOBODY LET ME CHANGE!!

Oh man, I would totally be a reservation-change-enabler if you asked!!! We visited WL to eat at Whispering Canyon and let me tell you I was absolutely jealous of everyone staying there... I'm not even an "outdoorsy" girl like that and I LOVED the look of it! So glad you can't change your reservation - because I would totally be cheering you on! :smokin:
