PART THREE! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Tomorrow is DS10's birthday party - laser tag. Once that's over I am totally focused on Disney (and Christmas shopping).

31 days!!!

Maybe, if I get all the Dis stuff done I might work on my Journal Your Christmas scrapbook.

This weekend is my son's 5th Birthday party! (His actual birthday is Thursday the 8th). I will be entertaining 14 kids at Build a Bear on Sunday. . . pray for me!

Question: For our past two trips we've done MVMCP on the Tuesday night we're there, but this time we have a Garden Grill reservation that I can't seem to move (ERRRR!). Is the party crazy busy on the Sunday nights? I'm thinking the 2nd, unless I can move my GG ADR to the 5th, then we'd go on the 4th.

14 kids at Build A Bear is better than 14 kids at your house!! :rotfl: Have fun!!

I have heard Sundays are okay since locals have work/school on Mondays. Fridays seem to be the busy ones.

Another birthday party!! Have fun! Do you know which way your inlaws are leaning yet?

Packing them in your Disney suitcase??? :goodvibes I still just have a pile of stuff, nothing actually in a suitcase yet. But now that the trip is next month, maybe it's not too early to pack.

yes i do put what they are wanting and then wash them up right before we leave

Wow, I really totally missed this... I had been under a rock for a long while it seems! :confused3

Happy to have found this thread again!

I know I was there among the firsts, back when it was under a different name... because I'm the first one listed on the roll call! :cool2:

Now that I'm catching up (mind you, as excited as I am... I just realized there's no way I'm going to read the 500+ pages of all 3 threads... I'll just catch up this 3rd one! :rotfl:) I realized my PTR isn't listed!

No wonder I have, like... 2 readers! :lmao:
Or maybe it's just because I ramble. (can't you tell?) :rotfl2:

Anyways... here's the link, for anyone courageous enough to try! ;)
(I feel smiley-y today!)

Brave soul! Last year for DS5's birthday we did about a dozen kids in a bouncy-castle party site, it was pretty awesome since it was two contained rooms ... Build a Bear sounds fun but like it could get crazy pretty quickly.

I've been searching to move my Garden Grill reservations every day for the last couple of months, with very little luck, I think about 6 weeks ago I was able to move it from 7:50p to 7:05p, when we were aiming for 5:30ish. Oh well.

Lots of November babies here. My DS is turning 6 on the 11th, I still haven't figured out what to do, probably just taking him and his cousins to the mini-golf park here.
Often you can get help getting your luggage to the lobby- and are you doing the online checkin for the rooms or do you have the DVC resv. #? You can call and see if you can get your rooms closer together as a request. I have always found the people at OKW so nice.
I have the DVC reservation number, but since I'm renting the reservation from another member they would have to add the request right? Can I do it from my DVC login or another external site? I hate to bug the owner he's been so great about adding ME and the dining plan for us. It would be lovely to be as close together as possible, even for just the one night. And it shouldn't be too much luggage since our plane is getting in late we're just having them hold the checked-in stuff at bell services after we take ME so we don't get it delivered at midnight, and taking our carry-ons to the rooms to live out of until we check out and head to BLT the next day, then will send everything over together.
I haven't been there since 1983, so you are in good company.
Yay for more people who haven't been in decades! I haven't been since '92, and will also be at the evening EMH at MK on the 9th.
Good morning all! Another busy morning for me, made more fun by lack of sleep due to seeing Wreck it Ralph at midnight last night. For anyone wondering, I really liked it. It had plenty enough to keep kids entertained, but a lot if the jokes are about older video games that kids may not get, but adults will! I was really :rotfl: as was everyone else in the theater.
Oh good. Its been getting great reviews, apparently Lasseter's touch is working out well. Seeing it is the extent of my weekend plans. That and biting my nails while I wait to hear about the job I interviewed for last Friday, and when my next interview with a different government agency is going to be.

When they called to confirm my time and group, they asked that we arrive promptly because an hour and 15 minutes behind us is a party of 100-- NOW THAT IS NUTS!!!:eek::scared1::scared1:

28 days for us!!!!!!!!

No huge plans this weekend... Manfriend's select girl's softball team has a tournament; Sunday is my birthday (but I'm totally ignoring that), my only request for Sunday is either breakfast at Magnolia's Pancake Haus or lunch at Pei Wei. We'll also put out the Christmas trees (no decor) and start the fluffing process (which I hate)...

Ohhhhh may the force be with you! We did this for my daughter's 10th in March however, I only had 6 girls... the neat thing is they do the entertaining for you...

I just realized that today is 40 days! Yay!

Work is super slow today and I still have an hour left to go. If this were 40 days from now, I'd be leaving work a tiny bit early to head to the airport. Sigh...

I hate fluffing. This is just one reason why I no longer put up a tree.

That's insane. Maybe for a wedding reception! Yep. I'm a big kid.

Build a Bear is much better than Chuck E Cheese. Not so much screaming. and they all get something to take home.

Laser Tag sounds like fun.

I was always thankful that DS's bday is in July. He invited like 1 good friend and we'd go to the movies.

My weekend - hopefully going shopping tomorrow at at Disney Outlet and Target, then get my stuff from storage for the trip.

Sunday - nothing. It's marathon day so if I leave I'll be surrounded by throngs of people. We'll stay home and watch football. Maybe I'll work on my Mousekeeping envelopes and such. I made a wrapper for DBF's mentos container last night. Oh and order our maps!

Tomorrow is the kids' last soccer games. I will be freezing! Tomorrow night is their banquet. In between, I'm wondering if I could get DH to start on re-doing the floors in the pantry (they are still the original linoleum, whereas the rest of the downstairs is laminate wood). Sunday we are going to Jamestown. It is a 4th grade SOL here, so I want DS to see first-hand what he's been learning about.

We'll be in DHS on the 9th also. :woohoo::teeth:

:woohoo: DHS is a busy night on the 9th for roll-callers!

:cool1::cool1: I Got Mickey Mail today!!!! YAY! :cool1::cool1: only 30 more days!! This time next month I will be ever so patiently waiting for my parents to arrive at our house so that we can hit the road! Now that Halloween is over I can't wait to concentrate on the holidays and our trip.

So will be be chatty today or this weekend?? We should be at part 4 by next week????

*sings* Awesome!

nothing to drastic just a trim, I already have medium short hair. It's long enough to handle a straight iron but short enough that I can wash and go as a curly head. If you have see brave my hair is like Meridans but shorter. Way out of control curls yes and even redish brown.

Hair I would kill for!! Ha!

 oh no no no no no no no - your organisation stresses me out!!! Let me tell you when I will be packing .... THE NIGHT BEFORE!!! :rotfl2:

Been there, done that so this is where I should really impart some great wisdom and tell you it will be ok. HA! Sorry, if I did that, I'd be lying :lmao: :lmao: Its chaos in a good way ;)

I've never rented points before- but I'm guessing he would need to do it. : /. However if you call OKW direct I bet they could add it right on to it because they can pull your reservation up at the front desk I think at 9 days out (I had called 2 years ago to add special crib requests to our room and had to wait a day or two longer than just the online check in) worth a try right?

Hmmm plans for this weekend .... well, its our final soccer game of the season tomorrow so DH is all wired for that. This is his first season coaching - our team is awesome, they are 7 (fab age!) and no, none of them belong to us .... our neighbours boy wanted to play but they didn't have enough coaches so DH said he'd do it and of course, I wanted in on it :thumbsup2 So, I've arranged a party for them afterwards at Stevi B's pizza.

No plans for tomorrow evening.

Sunday I plan on putting the clocks back one hour, I thought what the heck, if I do it,it might actually catch on then everyone will get an extra hour on Sunday. You're welcome.

The marathon has been canceled if anyone cares. I do, but that a discussion for elsewhere.

And my PP+ shipped today!!!!

This might be a weird question, but...how soon after paying for PP+ do you have to use it? I don't know if I want to use it for our trip in December, but I will definitely want it for my family trip in 2014.

Hmmmm, well I do know that once you upload your photos you then have 30 days to 'claim' them ... but I'm not sure if it actually expires. Let me see if there is anything written on mine .....

I heard there's no expiration except the 14 days after you activate it.

So that part is only about the card? I might totally go ahead and buy PP+ soon just to have it then.
