Thanks, hmmm it may be worth it if I can swing the cost. I'll have to wait and see. Then I could use that money for Christmas presents. Tempting.

I just logged in from the computer and realized I hadn't updated my signature in forever. OOPS.

Did Disney lower the height limits in the last 5 years or am I just remembering wrong? I could have sworn DS had to be 44 + inches to ride anything. I just looked and everything says 40 inches now except for the bigger things like SM, R&RC etc. DD is 39 inches so she needs to grow an inch in the next 57 days.

I've always known it to be 40" ... maybe you are thinking of Universal :confused3

Congrats on part3! Question: if you were to see only one at DHS, would you pick the beauty and the beast stage show or the little mermaid show?

We really like BBB much better then LMS. Keith (DS) likes the BBB show so we hear no complaints about going to the show. BBB is much more a musical show to us then LMS. Hope this helps.

HAHAHAHAH :rotfl2: no logging my exercise and my intake on fitness pal

Logging trees would probably be more effective, though!

If you were a logger - I bet you wouldn't need to exercise or watch what you eat!

Ugh, I'm sorry too. People should think abt stuff before they give nasty looks. Certainly we roll callers can help!

Well if you tell me who is giving the nasty look ill give them the stink eye right back!

I did too, when I had gestational diabetes. So this time it's a little easier for me to watch what I'm eating since I already know how to measure everything. I just have to make better choices on some of the foods I eat.

I had Gestational Diabetes as well with my first pregnancy. I learned a lot and its really what inspired my weight loss. It scares me that even in good health and in the middle of my weight range I am still more likely to develop it. When I get down in the dumps I eat junk food which sucks but I am doing if less and less... My weakness is sweets....

I've just realized I have never seen Beauty and the Beast or Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Definitely have to remedy that this trip!

Anyone have the burning desire to help me plan what days for what parks? I thought I had it done, then we added a day, then we changed hotels, then we changed hotels again :rotfl2:

I think we are set now. The hotels changed things since we are now walking distance to Epcot and HS which was a plus since we have a wheelchair along. We are fans of HS so like 2 days there. We have 10-day hoppers and are there the 3-13 with the 12th being my daughters 14th birthday. She has some delays so she is mor like taking a 4-5 year old to the parks so our focus is more like one with younger kids then teens. That said, last time we went she nearly killed me by riding RnRC 5x straight without getting off in the front seat! I had to sit the next hour trying to regain my bearings :rotfl2:

I don't like going to the parks on the day we fly out, but plan to go the evening we arrive (we land at MCO at 1pm). I figure ME will pick us up at 1 on our final day so after packing, checking out, and grabbing lunch we won't have much time anyway. ADRs are few this trip. We have breakfast at H&V on the 12th for my daughters birthday and O'Hana at 6:45 on the 9th. We want to catch Wishes at least one evening along with the MSEP and Fantasmic, and illuminations. Am I asking too much? I keep trying to plan it out but with the opening of Fantasyland thrown in I can't figure best time to go to MK.

Any ideas? I know I'm asking a lot:) but you guys seem to have this scheduling stuff figured out. Usually we just wake up and decide, but I think my daughter would do better knowing what to expect ahead of time.

Thanks!

Since you have H&V planned for the 12th I'll assume you will be spending that day at HS......you'll have to look at the calendar to see what days MSEP is showing......I'm there the 9th-17th and the only times that week that MSEP is going is the 10th, 12th, 15th, and17th. You will probably want to plan your one or two MK days to coincide with MSEP since it's limited because of the MVMCP. I would plan your park days around your ADRs and I'm assuming your daughter benefits by sticking to a plan and not rushing around......thus you wouldn't want to be park hopping too much?

Never made it to the outlets today, I'm gonna head down there one day after DS6 gets on the bus. Will give DS2 and I something to do.

ETA - For instance, my schedule is:
Fri 7th arrive midday - Epcot in evening for Candlelight Processional & Illuminations (its emh so grab a few rides too) ADRS: Via Napoli
Sat 8th - MK see MSEP & Wishes, I'm going against the grain here because it will be crowded but we like to do MK on our first full day ADRS: CRT breakfast Be Our Guest Dinner
Sun 9th - HS see Fantasmic & Osbourne Lights (evening emh) ADRS: 50's Prime Time lunch Hollywood Brown Derby Dinner
Mon 10th - Epcot full day ADRS: Biergarten lunch Rose & Crown dinner
Tues 11th - MK full day with MVMCP in evening see Christmas Parade ADRS: Liberty Tree Tavern lunch Crystal Palace dinner
Weds 12th - AK day DTD evening for La Nouba ADRS Tusker House lunch T-Rex dinner

Hey, we're going to be at Epcot the evening of the 10th too.....it's our Illuminations cruise and we may or not stay for PM EMH (ETA it's MK pm EMH,not Epcot), just depends on how we feel! We'll be hitting the Epcot resorts for their decorations that day before out Yachtsman dinner. The next day is our MK day too......are you planning on staying all day from RP to party time? I'm sure your LTT ADR is for earlier than ours. We're eating at 2:40 at LTT and plan on snacking all night long :) I love those fun things to do....you know, the stuff you never let your kids do when they were little? ::yes:: We have a Kona ADR for 7:50 am that morning and I've been dreaming about Tonga Toast :hyper:

Ok I have to rearrange our trip schedule. Found out yesterday, DD has a Christmas Parade to march in for Dance Team on the 8th at noon. BTW Dance is going to break me.

Hubby is happy because now since we have no free days, he has an excuse not to go to his sisters.

So much to do between now and then.

Girl....my daughter danced competition for 10 years. I'm pretty much guessing by saying "break me" you mean not only financially but mentally as well..... :grouphug: On the upside, it probably keeps her busy and these days, having busy children means keeping them our of trouble! :cheer2: So see, it works out for hubby too.....and it's saving you a couple night's stay......so that means more $$ for toys!

How much is the upgrade, just curious, we have free dining and the cabins have a kitchen. But not having to worry about any meals at all would be wonderful.

Regular to Deluxe

Adult non-peak: $33.98 per night
Child non-peak: $8.77 per night

Adult peak: $35.98 per night
Child peak: $9.77 per night

Remaining 2012 Peak Periods:
June 1 – August 4, 2012
December 21 – 31, 2012

So for us, 2 adults staying 7 nights, non-peak it's $475.72...

I thought that may have been the reason, I just wanted to check.

Sorry that you have to deal with the 'looks' I just really wish some people would think first!!

Well, good news for you - there is plenty of variety with CS if you do some research so it doesn't have to be all burgers & fries. I have read several really good CS reports on the Dining board where the mission was not to eat a burger.

Once you come up with a rough schedule, post it here and then we can help with yummy CS restaurants :goodvibes

YES! Since we're upgrading to deluxe dining I've limited our cs just because I wanted to get more bang for the buck......by doing this I've eliminated some good options for cs......what comes to mind immediately is AK's Flame Tree BBQ and Yak and Yeti counter service, and Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD....oh, and Starring Rolls at DHS. I WILL get me that hunk of pork at Gaston's Tavern, even if I have to pay oop for it (but I'm assuming that will be counter service as well).......and don't forget BOG lunchtime counter service!

I have only done dining when its free so we need to crunch some numbers for you.

$721 for you both which is (per person) $360.50 each per week, which is $51.50 per day. What are your eating habits usually? You need to weigh up whether you would spend that per day on food normally. Look at the menus & prices and do a rough estimate on what you would spend, plus factor in it takes the hassle out of paying with cash every meal, you know everything is taken care of.

I just can't justify $721....I don't suppose I can purchase the plan for less than the amount of days of our trip? So we are there for 7 but maybe only purchase for 4. Probably not, but it would make me feel better :)

I normally avoid brick & mortar stores as much as possible. But I had to get DS's hair cut today at the mall so stopped at Target to look for wrapping paper. No luck, but it turns out we now have a Big Lots. So I checked there and stocked up big on gift boxes, ribbon, bows and Disney Christmas wrapping paper. They had Mickey, Pooh, Toy Story, CARS and Tink.

Then, since I was already out, I stopped at Toys R Us to get some gift cards. And I found tree toppers - the perfect size for a small tree.

Sorry for the blur. No flash. Anyway, I got the Mickey one. They also had other small plastic ornaments (CARS, Toy Story, Nemo, Princesses) that would be good for a small tree and non-breakable.
