ITA! But DS10 would never forgive us for skipping TSM. We'll probably ride several times too.

I know. I really hope they do build a Carsland like they have at California Adventure at HS. More kid friendly rides there would be a major improvement and would probably help the hell that is managing to get on TSM immensely.

Happy Birthday fellow Philadelphian. :woohoo:

Thank you!

Happy Birthday to you!!! nothing better than breakfast with a friend on your birthday to start your year off right! :flower3:
gina

Thanks! I got to start my day with breakfast and am going to end it tonight with dinner with another friend and then we are heading to a 10pm viewing of Breaking Dawn 2!!

Yay for early ADRs and Happy Birthday!!!

Thank you!

:bday: It sounds like you scored some major Disney Magic on your big day :wizard:

I did! And I couldn't be more excited! I was jumping out of my skin when I saw that...I called DH as quick as I could get my phone to work

We are going December 7th thru the 14th. So add me!
Myself and my DS (4) and DD (1) are going with grandma and staying at the all star sports.

We just went in May (DH came that time) and had a blast. Grandma wanted to take the grandkids at Christmas time (we used to always go then). So we are meeting up with some of the other grand kids and aunts and uncles.

I was able to get an early entry early breakfast for each park! I was surprised as this wasnt' an early planned trip.

And this year we will be doing the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party to watch wished. I figure that would be easiest for the kids and a nice treat to take Grandma too.

I can't wait!!!

ok, I haven't caught up on today's post yet but wanted to let anyone going the first week in December that I found a 9am CRT and an 835 CP breakfast reservations for 12/5. I actually scored :cool1::cool1:an 8am CRT for that same day. The CM I spoke to at Dining was astounded:scratchin at how many CRT's she saw open for that specific day. So either someone was making major cancellations or something:confused3, I have no idea. So if you are still stalking get on there and check it out!!!!

Ohhh, I just checked the CRT and it's still open... I might snag that. I think DS would love it... and it's going to be such a special trip....

Couple of things before I quote peeps!

1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mom2Cody06!!!!! :yay:

2. Welcome to our 6 new ROLL CALLERS! How did you all find us? I posted a link to our thread on a theme park thread this morning, so thinking that's how we got some newbies! Happy to have you on board. YOU will help us get to Part 5! So no lurking. CHAT CHAT CHAT! :dance3:

oh shiney ring, where are you... ;)
I am crossing my fingers and toes for you. And if it doesn't happen at Disney...there still the holidays and NYE and V Day ahead...and all the days in between too. :thumbsup2

Yikes - one month from today we'll be in the Orlando airport, going in the wrong direction. :(
I hear you. We will be driving South that day too. I hate leaving the gates of Disney. sigh.

Hey everyone, question for all of you.

Since I'll be spending my honeymoon in the world, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for things I MUST do (with a focus on the romantic/surprising for the new wife.)

Any ideas?!

Sounds like you got the big stuff covered. Hmmm. Get some Mickey and Minnie ears (bride and groom) and take some cute pics.
Can you order a bottle of bubbly one night for dinner? Maybe do one of those artist drawings of the two of you? Go for cheese!! Treat her to a pick a pearl setting at EPCOT?

:offtopic: but....anyone else crazy like me and going to see Breaking Dawn tonight????

I'm going tomorrow night. Excited!! :3dglasses

We have the "Just Married" pins already. We tried on the ears while in Disneyland, and the groom's pair was like a child size on my massive noggin. :worried:

We're more of wine drinkers, but she does like to celebrate with the bubbly stuff occasionally. I'll think on that.

And we're cheesy people, so I'm open to all sorts of the cheese (the edible kind also. :thumbsup2)

First and foremost

:cake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mom2Cody06 :cake:

party::bday:party:

Well if you ever come to NH I will take you to their Inn - we ate their a few times and they are there (well years past) frequently. :) but you have to promise to take me to the aquarium in Atlanta :)

Deal :thumbsup2

LASTLY, WELCOME TO ALL OUR NEW ROLL-CALLERS. GLAD TO HAVE YOU HEAR AND EXCITED TO SHARE YOUR PLANS!!

Ok, coffee is next :teeth:

Ok that did not go well at all. Nothing has changed, just had a chance to guarantee we go our original week. But it didnt happen, so we wait until Monday.......

You can order wine through Disney Floral as well. I had my choice of bubbly, wine or non-alcoholic cider. They had at least 3 different kinds of each - both red and white.

I think I may get a caricature done. We also talked about doing face painting and having pics taken.

You have to be staying at a Disney property to order the wine, right? (I'm assuming you mean have it delivered to our room.)

Ack! I completely forgot about that! DH and I have to sit down and figure out a ballpark figure for our tips and OOP expenses as well. Maybe Thanksgiving weekend we can sit down and do that. It's a bit hectic this week with DS having 2 half days b/c of parent/teacher conferences.

I thought about that when you mentioned your OOP food expenses....that's one of the BAD things about DxDDP.....the tips are way higher :(. I think I estimated my OOP food and tips to be $350! :o.

We are an excited, extended family of 7 looking forward to spending Christmas in sunny Florida:) We arrive on Dec. 23rd and depart on Jan. 5th. We will be staying off resort in a rental house in Lake Berkley, Kissimmee. We have plans to spend two days in Disney Parks (MK and HS), two days at Universal/IOA, one day at Sea World and a day at Kennedy's Space Center. DH wants this to be a relaxing vacation so I had to keep several days theme park free in order to keep him on board:) Counting down the days until we arrive. Looking forward to spending our first ever SNOW free Christmas!

Welcome to our crazy bunch!

Agreed- that's where the deluxe plan really hits you! That being said, I'd love to be on the deluxe plan one trip and just eat to my heart's content!

Sorry :(
One way or the other it will all work out and you'll have a fabulous trip to wdw pixiedust:

:offtopic: but....anyone else crazy like me and going to see Breaking Dawn tonight????

Oh I wish I was - but I can't stay up that late anymore!! LOL! I'm hoping my son's girlfriend will go with me when I go see it. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to go by myself!!

We'll be there Dec. 8-16.

Doing a split stay at Poly and BC (our first time staying deluxe).

Have only been once in December (but it was 24 years ago).

Treating my parents to 8 days of deluxe dining and have some great ADRs lined up ('Ohana, Kona, Jiko, Citricos, Artist Point, Flying Fish, Yachtsman, Cali Grill, HBD).

Also planning on doing Fantasmic (dinner package), Osborne Lights, MVMCP (including the new castle projection show and Holiday Wishes), and Illuminations, none of which we've ever done before.

Now we just need the weather, flights, and everyone's health to hold up!
