Good luck on your sneaker breaking in day. I love my new ones so much that now I am trying to decide when I need to stop wearing them so they dont become "too" broken in.

I have a Kindle and I ADORE it. It's easy to read on, my local library has digital lending and the battery life is excellent!

I JUST finally found new sneakers. I need to break the suckers in ASAP or I'll be stuck with 2 pairs that are definitely in the "too" broken in category!!

I have the Kindle App and the Barnes & Noble reader app on my iPad. Since I typically don't read with it outside I don't see a need to buy a new e-reader right now. I can read books from both right on my iPad.

I have a Sony e-reader but barely use it.

I have Kindle for most of my books. I use iBooks for generic books I didn't get from Amazon; it's a little easier to manage. And I have GoodReader for just PDFs.

All if them will read PDFs but I like the way GoodReader syncs with Dropbox. I just keep my PDFs stored in Dropbox and they're always accessible.

Ok I read both of these comments and didnt understand either one. I have never had an e-reader or an i-anything. So I am often clueless.
So since you both use Kindle, I think I will get that one. I dont know what the difference is in any of them. I just want to download that holiday ebook Terri posted. Or the latest bestseller to read in the car.

Ah! I like the Kindle app (I use it on my phone).

They are Skechers Sport sneakers. Plain black, the same ones I always wear. I ordered two pairs of New Balance and DESPISED them, so they went back, and there was only ONE store in the area that had my Skechers!!

I use photobucket and copy the img code- very easy!!

I have a lot of expectations for this vacation too. I just want the perfect family vacation as well. Just relaxing, laughing and lots of hugs and fun...

Me too! I am so bummed that dh doesn't feel we need to go back next year....hoping he'll get some pixie dust that will make him agree we need to come back next October! I rearranged some ADRs and now our first full day (which was going to be an "ease into vacation" day) is going to be a he!! on wheels day ....and now I'm afraid we won't have much DTD time

One month from right this minute we'll be checking into POR. I'll be all giddy.....we'll grab something at the food court because our DxDDP won't start till the next day.... I'll need to get early ticket pickup and I've read where sometimes this is possible at the resort. Does anyone have experience with this?

Boy I keep promising myself I'm going to try to keep up with this thread but you guys talk too much!

Only 20 days left for us!! I love logging in on Disney's site to have it tell me I can do online check-in in only 10 days! I can't believe how not ready I am though, I still need to get my ADR's all printed, figure out where I saved my packing list and get it printed, notify my CC company we're traveling, add a US data pkg to my phone plan, get my cell phone fixed, print mousekeeping envelopes, and get a start on packing!

I'm so excited for these next two months.... Christmas cookies tomorrow, week off of school all next week, Christmas shopping/Breaking Dawn date day with my hubby, putting up the Christmas tree, then we're off to Disney, then after we get home it's only 2 weeks until Christmas! I LOVE this time of year!

3 weeks from now I'll be at AK, 4 weeks from now I'll be at MK getting ready to head to Chef Mickeys, 5 weeks from now I'll be back home in a foot of snow trying to convince my hubby to go back next year!

It's officially the BEST FRIDAY EVER!!!!!!!!

Why? 'Cause we're getting a NEW PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got the confirmation from the breeder that she got our contract and everything is good, which means we should be able to pick up our new Pembroke Welsh Corgi fur baby Thanksgiving weekend!

Guess we'll be fighting over puppy names all weekend now (but I still LOVE the idea of calling him Walt )

I'm SOOO relieved we found this little guy so quickly because this is the first time since we got the news about poor Beethoven doggie that Mom has actually sounded happy about something and not mired down in grief. She and our other dog won't have time to sit and mope with the new baby puppy running around the house.

New puppies make the world a happier place!

Glad I could help. The only reason I would buy a separate e-reader is if I did a lot of reading outside (like by the pool or the beach) since the iPad gets hard to read in the sun.

So you don't have to have a Costco card to get it for $54? I had PSE5 (yes that was a long time ago)......and it was a digital download that I never backed up. I lost it was my old laptop died. Picasso just isn't cutting it for me anymore!
