Part 4: Our Trip. "Oh, is that how a buffet works"?

Bob, your trip reports should be required reading for all those people who push & shove at parades, stop in the middle of the row at the Little Mermaid because he has to get the "best" seat & tape the show for his lil' niece, etc. etc.

Also, you have broken the code of how to REALLY enjoy WDW... you understand that it's not really THAT serious lol. You can enjoy the great things about it without getting wrapped around the axle about the "not so great" things.

Wish I could get me wife to take a spur of the moment trip like that! She's been there, done that, and that's that!

Dan

All this reading - I need a beer or two.

I'm really glad your room ended up being so nice!!

Truly classic!
Sort of a combination of Ernest Hemingway and P. J. O'Rourke. One of which I enjoy reading. But your stuff is great!
Re Bomas: remember that many people in the Real Africa eat bugs. You got off easy!

I turn on the tv and let it watch me for awhile before I wake up and turn it off

LOL, LOL, LOL! Thanks for posting this :)

Well, it’s exotic and different and you just don’t know what you’re talking about”. Nobody ever says, “Gosh chef, I think you need just a touch more ostrich saliva in that Foo Foo”, or, “If you sprinkled just a touch more hummingbird eyes over this crumbly stuff, well, ummmmm”.

LOL....keep it coming!:teeth:

I love that description. I have always tried to find a word to describe "those people" and you hit the nail on the head. Thanks.

I will never jostle for another precious Disney parade spot without the term "buttwad" floating around in my brain!!

Wow, you McGyver type beer cooler is the best idea I've heard. I love your reports, on to the next ones. By the way, I can't wait till I'm not a poor college student anymore so I can afford to enjoy beers at Disney. :D

Too funny. I must admit that when I went to Bomas I ended up paying a heck of a lot of money for a lot of soup with a little bit of brown stuff, as an added extra.

Thanks for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews!!!!!

I completely agree with your review of Boma. It was an interesting experience, the AKL is beautiful (a future stay will be in order), but the food was something I would never eat again.

Great reports!:teeth:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Very amusing! I haven't read the rest of your reports yet but I am headed there now! We're not into fancy food either so we will skip Boma and look for more "common" food.
