Parley....Will That Get Me On The Ship Any Faster part 2

OK tshirt time, here's what I've been working on the last 3 days. 1 down 3 more to go!

and here's AL ready to go
business in the front:

party in the back (which will become the front when time)

Awesome! Love the rhinestones!!! :lovestruc

Ok that's awesome Becky!:thumbsup2 How'd you do that.... are those sparkley beads?

yep rhinestones. I printed the pic out and I get this special paper that is sticky on the back and I set the rhinestones on it upside done (color side down) 1 by 1

It takes about 2 hours to do one stripe. I come home and work on them for a couple of hours every day. I have 3 more to do.

Fedex just brought our cruise docs. Woop! Woop!

Becky, I am loving your work - the t-shirts are great. I just wish that a) I was that imaginative and talented and b) the other members of my family would be likely to wear them

Becky---you're shirts are AWESOME!! Sooooo talented!

I do NOT have the patience --or talent to do that.
We're working on our costumes this weekend, and I am already in a panic that we will mess them up... eek!

What is HDDR? (your PS? on the 20th).
I have been racking my brains out trying to figure out that one.

On the 19th we are doing Animal Kingdom, with T Rex that night (our friends are flying in late that afternoon).
On the 20th, we'll be at Harry Potter World.
The 21st at EPCOT --and we decided not to eat around the world, as our friends have never been to EPCOT. We didn't want the children to have to stand in food lines. We thought their time would be better spent viewing attractions (now if it was just my husband and I...oh yowza. We'd be enjoying all the food too!).

Off to start my day. I'm headed off to get some doo-dads for the trip...

FE question for you all!!

Are we supposed to put who the gifts are from on each one?

Hi. Just a few quick questions for anyone who might know. Our cruise documentation arrived today. We are doing pre and post stay with this cruise. We have never before used ground transfers. I have booked DME for the trips to and from the cruise. Can anyone tell me what the normal procedure is for pick-up at Contemporary? When is the luggage to be put out/picked up? What time is the bus and where do we get it? I have booked a breakfast already for that morning. Should I cancel. Also, approximately what time would we be arriving back at Disney after the cruise and can I make arrangements so that our room at AKL is ready when we get there?
Thank-you in advance for your help.

Pat

Thanks for the compliments. I love to craft, and this takes time up and keeps me out of the refridgerator. I have however discovered why my neck has been bugging me; looking down for long periods of time (2 hrs is my limit working on them now). Now the funny thing is that I have switched to contacts and I need readers to see close up. I take my contacts out when I get home from work and put my glasses on, and then my readers(since I now need bifocals) over that so I can see. It's a site to see; but you won't :)

Although I have never taken transfers from the hotel, I have heard upon check in they will give you that information. When you check in talk to them about you having cruise transfers and what you need to do.

Up to you, some do, some don't I prefer those that do.

For your pickup at the Contemporary - you will be notified the night before the cruise what time you will be picked up, but we were told it would be between 11 & 1 PM. So you should be OK for breakfast. They will also make arrangements for Bell Services to pick up your luggage the morning of the cruise. Keep in mind that the DCL buses stop at more than 1 hotel, which is the reason they can't give you a pickup time until the night before. You can confirm all the details when you arrive at the hotel.

I believe the latest you can get off the boat is 9 AM, but you will be assigned to a disembarkation group. I'm guessing you will be back at AKL somewhere between 10:30 and 11:30. You should be able to do advance check in and specify an arrival time, but there's a really good chance your room will not be ready, so you should plan accordingly. They will store your luggage at Bell Services if your room isn't ready.

Hope that helps. :thumbsup2

Thank you Njprincess and minnieandmickey for the info. Hope this cruise is as good as our last one.

Douple woop! woop! I am seriously excited now. Have just decided, at the last minute, to have a go at making some t-shirts for our cruise (although DH assures me he is NOT wearing matching shirts so it might just be DS and I)

I have just agreed to go full time at work (an increase of 7 hours a week) and that comes into effect the week before we leave for WDW. I will most definitely need a vacation by then ;)

Sean is possibly being transferred to another Sgt's position (5 days a week, weekend and holidays off...believe it or not we aren't happy about that) I asked him when he said in about a month. I said "we leave on vacation in a month" he said ok well a month and a half...:rotfl:
