Parks Today?? 7/19

Is anyone in the parks today?? I checked the app since our first park day is tomorrow and it seems like FP are gone really fast. Nothing available before 9:30PM by 10:00AM?? This has not been the norm this summer. Is this an app glitch or actually the case? Any explication or insight. Feeling super worried about our touring days if this is the case. Is it related to MaxPass??

You may need to completely close and reopen the app. These are the current return times I'm seeing.

I see FP still available for everything, some immediate return times. Maybe refresh your app?

Yes, close and reopen the app. Many of the rides were showing immediate return times at 9:30.

I've been following the FP return times all day, and so far I haven't seen anything unusual. I'll keep watching. We'll be in the parks the first week of August, so I'm not sure what the effects on crowds of reopening of the railroad & people's getting more familiar with MP will be between now & then. We'll see. So far, so good.

I'd bet most people don't even know it's live. It will take some time to see the true impact. Additionally, I think many will wait for their AP renewal to add it, so that will take time to cycle through.

It does seem that (on the app) Fastpasses for some e-tickets have been going a lot quicker today than past days. For instance, guardians at around 9:30am today had a 3:45 return time, whereas on a weekday last week the return time at 9:30 seemed to be around noon or 1. But, I'm not sure if that's a result of maxpass or heavier crowds today. I'm hoping for the latter

I think the crowds are heavier this week than last week based on both return times and standby times.

We were at the parks last Thursday and they were dead. We were then there on this Monday and Tuesday and they were slammed. So if today is anything like the past few days there are lots of people.

We got there Saturday about noon and left about an hour ago. The parks were fine today as compared to yesterday which was an absolute crowded nightmare. We did not feel any real impact from Max Pass. Guardians and RSR FP ran out earlier than last weekend, but last weekend was very low crowds. Everything else seemed like normal to us today FP wise.,Saturday we rode Peter Pan in the afternoon with a 15 minute wait- and most of the more crowded lines were in that range. Sunday was low crowds but not as good as Sat. Monday was more crowded, but not that bad. Yesterday was awful and we would have left if we had not had a Fantasmic dining package. Crowds were not bad today- we rode Guardians around noon and it had a posted wait of 45 minutes, but took 30 minutes. Later in the afternoon it had a posted wait of 60 minutes, but the line was shorter than it was when we got in and waited 30 minutes. That said- we only saw a few people actually using Max Pass so it may take awhile and the catch on.
